Over a decade ago, when Writing Down the Bones first appeared, Natalie Goldberg started a revolution in the way we practice writing. Now, for the first time, Goldberg reads her classic work, while offering new commentary about the creative, spiritual, and practical dimensions of writing. This collector's edition also includes an exclusive interview with the author.

    Overall

This is Natalie reading her 1st book years and years later. She reads the chapter and then reflects on anything she has learned since or wants to add 15 years later. This is a special special edition!!!! To hear her actually speak is great but the "update in time adds much".
    Thanks Audible!!!....lynnr

    "First Hand Experience"
    Overall

Dr. Janov, also the author of "The Primal Scream" back in the 1960's, (of which John Lennon was one of his early patients) is quite a researcher and basically is looking to see if the "primal birth situation" which can be filled with trauma can create trauma that repeats and follows one through life. He believes love and given loving parents and family can reverse or heal any "birth trauma" setting the child free to live a healthy life. While the abusive family will perpetuate the trauma. This book is an introduction to that theory. Dr. Janov has also authored many other books revolving around the same theory but more in depth. He has a clinic that provides therapy along these lines.
