Would you consider the audio edition of The Burning Bridge to be better than the print version?

well I have the printed version as well and the audio is true to the print it was vary vary well performed.the performance took a great book and made it better its unbelievable.wonderful

What did you like best about this story?

I liked all the ranger series I started getting the audio books at the library then I found I could not get them all. so I came here for the remainder. I usually read the books then listen but this one I did the opposit. truely enjoyed the audio and reading the books so much so I bought the whole series to send to my father who is avid reader. I am tring to get him listening to the audio books but he set in his ways and wont even try it. I will send him the books but these are books that anyone from the youngest to the oldest can enjoy and I listen to them with my grandson, hes 5 and he was really into them especially the one with the boat ride. I was amazed at how much of the story he was picking up.The performance even captured his attention as well as mine and My husband. Now My father I truly will get him to listen because this performance really adds to the book and makes it better. I believe if I had read it first I would not have enjoyed it quite as much. not to put the book down as it is vary well written.

    Any additional comments?

all ages enjoyed this performance from ages 5 to 75

After their epic journey across Europe, Ayla and Jondalar have reached his home, the Ninth Cave of the Zelandonii, the old stone-age settlement in the region known today as southwest France. Jondalar's family greet him warmly, but they are initially wary of the beautiful young woman he has brought back, with her strange accent and her tame wolf and horses.

    "greatest book"
Where does The Shelters of Stone rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

this is one of my favorite books I read each book as it came out and when ever a new one came out i reresad the series but when I found this last one came out I ordered audio book as I have little time to read but I was downloading it when my husband came home with the last book. so i read it then I listened to the audio books I was not disapointed. it is a great series and to listen to them one after another in order was wonderful. my husband teases me cause I read them all but the audio book is quite another experience.I have read all the books and passed them to my father who has read them all he has an e reader and i am definately going to order this for him as well i truly think he will appreciate it as he really enjoy the books and told my husband when the last one came oout to get it for me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked them all everything just fits so well together.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

well with this book ya laugh in places and cry in others . it was vary well writen book and the performance was vary well done and true to the story and book.

    Any additional comments?

I have probably not been fair in my assessment of the performance as it was vary well done but I had read the books previously and tend to creat a world and immage in my mind. the only reason i did not give it 5 stars is i felt that Jondalars voice was way off beat but that is something I had in my head before I listened to the book.. so if that is my only complaint of the performance I think they done extremely good.
