In the safety of her adoptive father's estate, south of London, Felise Scelfton is raised oblivious to the power of her beauty and rumors of her dowry. But when the knights of Windsor court brandish their swords and bid for her hand, Felise realizes she'd better keep her flirtatious tongue in check, lest her jests be taken as vows. Little does Felise know that King Henry II has already decided her fate - his royal command gives her hand to Sir Royce Leighton, the scarred and brooding lord of Segeland, in order to seal a political alliance.

What would have made The Troubadour's Romance better?

I did not like the story line - I am a big fan of Robyn Carr, I will definitely stay away from this series if there is one

What didn’t you like about Anne Flosnik’s performance?

voice it didn't fit well with the character

    Any additional comments?

I don't care for the new book covers that Robyn is using. The covers without the people are more plesant to the eyes.

Would you try another book from Robyn Carr and/or Therese Plummer?

    Nothing exciting

What could Robyn Carr have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I am not sure the book was a rag to riches tail. Lacking.

What three words best describe Therese Plummer’s performance?

Awesome, great, except kids her voice is too old for children character.

    Any additional comments?

Why do the children character voice always appears older than child is or to young for child. It doesn't appear in any of Robyn book the child is really three, because they sound more like 8 or nine.

What disappointed you about The Homecoming?

I love Robyn books, but sometimes her women are silly and makes the situation all about them. Again she did that with Iris, when Steph father had the medical issues. She comes crying it all her fault, really. This story was so predictable but end was lacking true depth. It's not a horrible book, but one I wouldn't miss reading or listening to again. Normally I like to go back and listen several times.

Has The Homecoming turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, but will pay more attention to the previews

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The performance was fine Threres Plummer is awesome reader

What character would you cut from The Homecoming?

None of them., the characters are fine. I would just think about the plot of the book and see if it's appears real and if the women character seem silly and unrealistic.

Would you try another book from Susan Mallery and/or Sarah Grace?

This is not a book, I would be interested in listening to again. It was ok, nothing specular about the story. Michelle was an emotional wreck. The story had no balance to the story line.

Would you ever listen to anything by Susan Mallery again?

yes, I listen to her some of other books they were ok.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Sarah Grace?

yes, her voice was fitting to the characters

Do you think Barefoot Season needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No not for me to listen to. The story was incomplete and lacking a balance of the key players.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

From the beiginning of the book I found the start boring but as she read on to chapter 3 the story became a bit more interesting. The reader voice is not suitable for this book. for Joslyn character it's okay, but for the men - it is not. It sounds as if t he men are weak and whinney.

Would you be willing to try another one of Alison Larkin’s performances?

Not for reading men characters. Not at all. When I first started listening, I had stopped listening twice, before I decided to listen a bit more to see if the book became interesting. I do not care for her voice for this book. She may do better with young childrens books.

Could you see The Braeswood Tapestry being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    no
