    Councilman Golan Trevize is wondering if he was right to choose a collective mind as the best possible future for humanity over the anarchy of contentious individuals, nations and planets. To test his conclusion, he decides he must know the past and goes in search of legendary Earth, all references to which have been erased from galactic libraries. The societies encountered along the way become arguing points in a book-long colloquy about man's fate, conducted by Trevize and traveling companion Bliss, who is part of the first world/mind, Gaia.

    What disappointed you about Foundation and Earth?

    Other than the narrator,the characters were only vehicles for the endless speeches


    How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

    Remember that this is a story and keep it moving as your characters make the points


    How could the performance have been better?

    Get another narrater. Horrible, horrible.


    Any additional comments?

    I don't think this was one of his best. However, it tied up with his short stories. However, the narrator was absolutely horrible. I nearly put it down the first hour. Instead of hearing an actor define the authors word, I felt as if my 2nd grade teacher was reading from a primer. " See Dick. See Jane. See Spot run. Run Spot run" I know anyone over fifty recognizes that.
