I've read every Alex Cross book that James Patterson has ever written. I love this character. However, similar to how Thomas Harris betrayed his characters in his Hannibal Lector book series, James Patterson has betrayed the character of Alex Cross.
This book is a complete contradiction of Alex' rational and intelligent character. The plot is far-fetched and completely unbelievable. Patterson has become so obsessed with mass producing his books (most of which he now "co-writes"), that his is no longer loyal to his characters.
Don't waste you time reading this comic book.
