    "Intriguing mysteries, excellent readings"

While the audio could be just a little clearer (otherwise, 5 stars), this first set of Father Brown stories have been enjoyed by our whole family.

One of the greatest treats in all world literature, this masterpiece from Mark Twain inspired a literary revolution. The novel offers both brilliant humor and tragedy as Huck and Jim explore the moral dilemmas of slavery and freedom. Huck, the narrator, is shrewd, ingenious, and literal; he reports on everything he sees, which allows the listener to experience the hypocrisy of "sivilization".

Andrea says: "Terrific interpretion of an excellent story"
    "Demanding, but rewarding"

This will not accommodate a hurried listener. It's Mississippi River slow, so settle in to meander along, taking in the sounds, the varied voices, and the strange characters.

Here are American author Howard Pyle's exciting and hilarious tales of Robin Hood and his merry band of outlaws, who reigned over Sherwood Forest doing many good deeds for the poor - and deserved misdeeds to the pompous and haughty rich.

Damon D. Hickey says: "Great presentation of a classic story"
    "Good voices. Great pacing."

Our kids (ages 6 up to 14) enjoyed this, asking for it in the car, snagging the Garmin Nuvi to listen in the house.

Clear and expressive diction, singing generally OK and sometimes terrific.
