In Kenya, when a young American man falls in love with the sophisticated daughter of an African chief, their marriage is strong. But tradition will soon put their union to the supreme test. Gripping and soulful, A Woman's Worth is a tale of cultural divisions, emotional wounds, and a love that struggles to transcend them.

    "Definite must listen"
    Overall

Not only was I impressed with how Tracy Price-Thompson's story transported you from the American South to Africa to Europe and back again but I was equally impressed with the narrators as well. They brought life and substance to each character. I was captured from beginning to end. It's a definite must listen.

Now that they are together, Monica wonders if the younger Lewis is the right man for her. Lewis senses Monica drifting and promises to get his life and career in order. But scheming ex-husband Nate is just as determined to steal Monica back - and destroy Lewis in the process.

    Overall

I suffered through the first few hours of this book until I couldn't take the sound of the narrator's voice any longer. Upon reading the book's synopsis it sounded like a really interesting read. I'm going to have read it myself instead of suffering through the audio version. I'm clearly not a fan of Kevin Free's reading.
