On the eve of the 2012 Grammy Awards, the world learned of a stunning tragedy: Whitney Houston, unquestionably one of the most remarkable and powerful voices in all of music, had been silenced forever. Over the weeks and months that followed, family, friends, and fans alike tried to understand how such a magnificent talent and beautiful soul could have been taken so early and so unexpectedly. Honest and heartbreaking, this is a mother's story of tears, joy, and her greatest love of all: her daughter, Whitney.

Kimberly Davis Wilson says: "Nobody Knows Whitney Better Than Mama"
    "Very respectfully, well-written book!"

What did you love best about Remembering Whitney?

The class contained in Cissy's written word. She told what appeared to be the TRUE story about her beloved daughter which was really interesting: how she was raised, how her weaknesses (or feelings of inadequacy?) perhaps led to her drug use. Coming from a middle class working home with 2 supporting parents, it's amazing how drug use became bad habits of all 3 children.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Remembering Whitney?

    Hearing about her childhood days!

Have you listened to any of Robin Miles’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No, she was an excellent.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The entire book! I could barely put it down.

    Any additional comments?

I recommend this book to others who loved Whitney Houston.
