Terriffic characterizations, even for the minor players. They come alive! Even though this was written in 1964, it's not the least bit dated.
Louise, because she recovers her self resepect despite the abuse of her former lover.
Thrilling hand-to-hand combat in the dark on a boat in the middle of the ocean.
When a woman needs a hero!
