If he was to create a story involving main character with a pair and a story line that doesn't sound like the next line should read "A is for apple, see the dog run." One (or a hundred) too many tears down a cheek, in an eye, through a beard. Ridiculous writting, descriptions and progression of a weak story line that started off pretty good; good enough to keep me listening, but eventually at 3X speed to see if the story would regain what it had in the first couple chapters; it didn't.
Not at all. I am still looking for the next "Swan Song, Breakers, Escaping - Surviving - Going Home, This Shattered Land - No Easy Hope, Run, The Remaining Series, 77 Days in September etc...This was NOT it!
He did a fair job with what he had to read. Work on your female character voice.
This was my first single star rating, I hope it is my last.
Outstanding all around.
The story tied into part one well into the story. It was in no way a sequel to book one of the series, while at the same time it was outstanding sequel to the story line.
He is one of the best.
For those who enjoy a vivid apocalyptic survival based journey you will not be disappointed, but CAUTION - YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A LOSS OF SLEEP. This story, books one and two, my fellow end of times story seekers, took me on a vividly written and narrated journey that started when I hit the play button and ended when the nice man from Audible thank me for my purchase. To the person who masterfully describe ever evolving happiness, sadness, hopefulness, disparity, anger, and compassion thank you and very nicely done you incredible word putter together-er!
I can't, too many to list.
All around good job.
Book two, father faces the unthinkable.
Please hurry with book 3!
Someone in need of fire starter or outhouse supplies.
If looking for something better than this book maybe billboards.
So what is the refund policy?
YES!!!! This story will have you driving the speed limit and past your house two or three times before you hit the button on your garage door opener.
The grip this story had on me was stronger than Day by Day Armageddon which involved no sleep and an earphone in one ear as I acted like I listened to every word my wife said, but I only had that masterpiece on 1.25 speed. Run, my fellow zombie - apacolyptic - end of times story seekers, took me on a vividly written and narrated journey that really did have me leaving work early and driving the long way home at speeds well below the limit as I listened at 2.0 speed in order to get as much in as possible before went into earphone mode (Mr. narrator Sir, you were still OUTSTANDING at 2.0).
The scene that started when I hit the play button and ended when the nice man from Audible thank me for my purchase.
I'm way too tough to cry.... wait... did my wife send pictures?
For those who enjoy a vivid apocalyptic, zombie SURVIVAL (you know what I am talking about), armageddon based journey you will not be disappointed. In fact I offer a money back guaratee you will soon re-prioritize your "That was a fricken great book" list as soon as you realize this bit of pure listening enjoyment is over. To the person who masterfully selected and organized the sequence of human language used to constantly describe ever evolving happiness, sadness, hopefulness, disparity, anger, and compassion in this gift of entertainment, thank you and very nicely done! Finally, this story wraps up in a way that concludes this families ordeal and was not designed to answer questions in a sequal; thank you again master word putter together-er!
