"the Accidental Vampire"
They forgot to put in the last chapter. I'm serious. Chapter twenty-one of the book was left out. It cuts off after chapter twenty and leaves the wrap-up 'un-wrapped'. I had to go to my copy of the book and flip to the back to finish the story because it's not part of the audio book I just bought. (The rest of the book was great but it p!$$ed me off to not get the ending of the book.)
"Switched narrator. Oops!"
As always Anne McCaffry writes a good story. This book is the fifth in the series and as a paperback is enjoyable. Unfortunately they switched readers for this last book. If you have listened to all of the other books, which have the same reader, and then start this one??? It???s like jumping into a new series, it seams completely divorced from what has come before. Susan Ericksen is a fine reader for OTHER books but her style drastically differs from the rest of the books in this run and breaks this last book away from the end of the series. In short: Switched narrator. Oops!
