In contemporary London, a loose-knit group of political vagabonds drifts from one cause to the next, picketing and strategizing for hypothetical situations. But within this world, one particular small commune is moving inexorably toward active terrorism. At its center is Alice Mellings, a brilliant organizer who knows how to cope with almost anything, except the vacuum of her own life.

What disappointed you about The Good Terrorist?

It was totally different from what I expected. Nothing about it was interesting or informative.

Has The Good Terrorist turned you off from other books in this genre?

    Absolutely not!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Narrator was ok--story and content were the most boring I have ever read.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Good Terrorist?

    All of it.

Few people realize that the Comanche Indians were the greatest warring tribe in American history. Their 40-year battle with settlers held up the development of the new nation. Empire of the Summer Moon tells of the rise and fall of this fierce, powerful, and proud tribe, and begins in 1836 with the kidnapping of a lovely nine-year-old girl with cornflower blue eyes named Cynthia Ann Parker.

Would you consider the audio edition of Empire of the Summer Moon to be better than the print version?

If you are tired at night, listen to your books while on the move during the day.

What does David Drummond bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Voice inflections that add emphasis to situations and facts.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Comanche nation held back westward progress of USA for 40 years

    Any additional comments?

A wonderfully interesting history of the Comanche Nation. Most readers will find they had only superficial knowledge of their traits and impacts on US history.
