Would you listen to To Have and To Code again? Why?

Yes, I would listen to every book in this series again to pick up all the things I missed the first time around.

What other book might you compare To Have and To Code to and why?

There really isn't anything like this series so it's hard to compare... maybe something written by Molly Harper (they are light hearted and fun)

Which character – as performed by Martha Harmon Pardee – was your favorite?

Nell she is a major figure in all the books.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Nell told Daniel about her mom's precog vision.

    Any additional comments?

I read this book (0.5 in the series) after completing the 3 books one through three in the series... I hope Audible gets the rest of the books in this series

Would you consider the audio edition of The Rogue Hunter to be better than the print version?

Who reads anymore... I currently have 552 audible books in my library (I don't have time to read).

If you’ve listened to books by Lynsay Sands before, how does this one compare?

This one was a bit boring... not the normal 'Argeneau' book, and no returning characters from the other books. This book could be read as a standalone and would not be missed if it were removed from the series completely. I've always liked how the series linked the characters together and that is completely missing from this book.

Have you listened to any of Rick Robertson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Rick Robertson is a good narrator and does well in this series. That is one thing that bugs me a bit, there are six different narrators for this series so far... find a narrator and stick with them.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction I just wanted to hurry to get through the book, which is never a good thing, so I could read another book.

    Any additional comments?

Buy the book on sale or skip it completely (you won't be missing anything as far as continuity with the series)!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Grave Surprise to be better than the print version?

I love the audible versions of all the books I listen to... the books just come alive.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The story line is different from others I've been reading so it holds my interest and makes me want to know what is going to happen next.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I don't want to give anything away... but my favorite scene is one with her and Tolliver and a revelation that Harper has.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    I feel dead people!!!

    Any additional comments?

    Charlaine never disappoints!

A storm struck on the night Laura Shane was born, and there was a strangeness about the weather that people would remember for years. But even more mysterious was the blond-haired stranger who appeared out of nowhere - the man who saved Laura from a fatal delivery. Years later - after another bolt of lightning - the stranger returned.

Barry says: "One of Koontz' best, entirely enjoyable."

Would you listen to Lightning again? Why?

Yes, I think I missed things the first time through... when listening instead of reading, there is sometimes a tendency to let your mind wander unfortunately.

What did you like best about this story?

The twists that surprised me and the automatic weapons!!!

What about Christopher Lane’s performance did you like?

The different voices for each of the characters was great.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a lot and teared up a couple of times.

This time around, Jeff would gain all the power and wealth he never had before. This time around he'd know how to do it right. Until next time.

If you could sum up Replay in three words, what would they be?

What did you like best about this story?

The idea of being able to have a 'do over' on your life while maintaining the knowledge of what happened previously (it's a fantasy we all have).

    Which scene was your favorite?

I can't say without giving something away... all the scenes were good!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I remember laughing out loud at one part but now can't remember what it was about! Guess I'm getting old.

    Any additional comments?

This is not a waste of a credit, I found the story and concept very intriguing

  • A Bite to Remember: Argeneau Vampires, Book 5

Rule #1: Never get involved with someone who won't be there for you when the sun comes up. Once bitten, twice shy, and sexy PI Jackie Morrisey wasn't going there again. Vincent Argeneau may be the hottest guy she's ever met, living or dead, but she's here to stop a killer from turning this vampire into dust, not to jump into bed with him.

The narrator made Tiny sound awful... I cringed every time she did his voice. Plus I agree with the others, her breathlessness really started to get on my nerves and I just wanted to finish the book PDQ.

New York Times and USA Today best-selling author MaryJanice Davidson’s tales featuring Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor are a perfect blend of humor, horror, and high fashion. In this 10th installment, Betsy finds herself puzzling over an unusual predicament. As the Vampire Queen, she believes she cannot die. So when she wakes in the morgue, it’s a bit confusing. Could it have something to do with her recent time-traveling excursion, or has a wicked enemy emerged who could be the end of Betsy once and for all?

Wow, I love this series, but seriously what a huge waste of time and money (I'm wondering if Nancy Wu was as disillusioned as me). I had high hopes for this installment since the previous book was such a let down. The next book better "get back with the program" or I will be an ex-Betsy fan.

There is always a price to pay - so Darius warned her when she accepted a position with his traveling troupe. And gazing mesmerized at the merciless slash of his mouth, the implacable resolve on his face, the soulless emptiness of his black eyes, Tempest was afraid to ask what it was.

Rebecca Cook (narrator) has definite issues with her pronunciation of the name Desari??? I thought they???d introduced a new sister for Darius. I really miss Juanita Parker, the continuity between books was lost for me.
