First, skip the first 10 minutes - that's Dr. Dyer's very dry preamble. I almost didn't listen, but decided to keep going and give up my judgment.I'm so glad I did!The book is inspiring way beyond the 'think positive' and 'be positive' mantras, to the far-reaching implications we can have with our thoughts and behavior. The most subtle energies have the most power: the most destructive weapons are created from the smallest particles. The subtle energies we can affect have the most power to change the world and our own personal lives for the better. Both Dr. Dyer and Chopra relate personal anecdotes that reveal their own humanity, and entertain, such as when Dr. Dyer's daughter taunts him with , "Where's Mr. Positive now?" in retort to a family situation we all have dealt with. The rapport and love between the 2 authors in palpable, and there is not a pretentious bone in their bodies.I was sad when I finished listening and was ready for more. I'll give it another listen or look for more from these authors.remember - skip the first 10 mins. or just know the book gets 1000% better afterward. Don't miss this book.
Nick relates his personal story of being born without limbs to finding his mission and inspiring others to overcome adversity, obstacles, and finding their mission. His story will make you laugh, cry, and count your blessings. Everything happens for a good reason, and Nick is proof positive of that saying.
Relationships are all about communication and this book details the ways to create effective communication in any situation. Very powerful. Get results with powerful communication rather than getting into power struggles. I recommend this book to every human being.
