On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me—well, actually, my true love, Darcy O’Mara, is spending a feliz navidad tramping around South America. Meanwhile, Mummy is holed up in a tiny village called Tiddleton-under-Lovey with that droll Noel Coward! And I’m snowed in at Castle Rannoch with my bumbling brother, Binky, and sourpuss sister-in-law, Fig.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. The narrator brings each character to life. It is as if the people are there in the room with you. The listener is kept interested until the very end, and I especially enjoyed the Christmas theme.

What other book might you compare The Twelve Clues of Christmas to and why?

The previous installments are equally as good. Rhys Bowen has maintained the story line by really making the listener love each and every character, and want to follow them over time from novel to novel.

What about Katherine Kellgren’s performance did you like?

So well done I find it hard to believe that all of those voices came from one performer. Kudos to her talent!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Impoverished Lady Georgie once again gets in over her head in trying to solve murders that stump the professionals. But she never forgets her ties to royalty, or to the man she loves.
