I have waited so long for this book and was drawn right back into marla's story.....great story, great characters and jessica almasy did an excellent job narrating......please don't let this be the last marla book mr pratt!!!!
i tried to stretch this book out as long as i could…i have missed jamie and claire so much…i loved every minute of this book and wish it was twice as long as it was as i never get tired of hearing davina porter become claire and jamie.
totally feel like she just skimmed over a bunch of stories…not once did i laugh
no one is funnier than david seders...i love his voice, i love him telling the stories..i laughed out loud....at work...
So disappointed... Year after year of waiting and waiting for each new book and to have it end like this. such a bummer.
I've lost interest in this series....and the narrators voice for Brea sets my nerves on edge. If I never hear the phrase "my baby sister" again it will be too soon.
I have read the 3 books previous to this in the series and really enjoyed them. I made it half way through this audio version before I had to stop. I am horribly disappointed. the narrater ruined it.
totally could not get into this book. the narrater sounds like she's a 15 boy when she does the male voice.
the story about lincoln himself was interesting ......the author threw in a little vampire killing to make a "biography" funny/entertaining.....like it said, it was okay not great by any stretch. could have been much better imho
one of the best books i've ever read (listened to)....the story was entertaining and educational...i found myself really caring about some of the characters and really disliking some...i can not praise it enough...
i will admit that it took a few minutes for the main character to grow on me...she does seem a bit whiny at first....but the story seems to get moving and I ended up really liking juliet and the story...20 hours didn't seem too long and i was kinda sad when it was over...well done
