"Timeline"
Chrichton is awsome. He has a way of making you feel as if you are in the story watching it take place in person. It provides a great insight to the past and the present. Your listening time will definately not be wasted with this audio book.
"Fantastic!!!"
I've listened to approximately 100 audible books and this one is in my top five recommendations. There are two stories in this book, one from long ago and one from the present. Yet both stories are closely (very) related. This book is one of only two in which I have listened to that catch me by surprise at the end. Please listen to this one.
"Fantastic"
This book grabs you in the beginning and doesn't let go until the end.
"Great Listen!!!"
Kinsey hasn't changed one bit. I can't wait to see if she gets a new car in "T" is for ??? Oh, I'm sorry. Did I leave you hanging? Then download this book and you hear what I'm talking about.
Only one drawback for me in this listen: there were too many characters in this story.
"Spectacular Ending"
Great narrator, great story, spectacular ending!!! I can usually surmise how the ending will play out, but this one caught me totally by surprise. It actually took my breath away.
"This is definately not Hiaasen's best!!!"
This story is boring.
"He must be in a slump"
Mr. Koontz made me feel, with regard to his earlier writings, that the far fectched ideas, circumstances, situations he portrayed could really happen. Lately though, he has been lacking in his ability to keep my attention. I made it to part 5 and then turned it off and do not plan on finishing this book. Plus, I think Stephen King has already written a similar book called "Dream Catcher".
"Waste of time"
The description of the book does not reflect well in the story. It reads like an abridged version of a poorly told story.
"Reader Issues"
The reader of this book would be a great presenter/trainer for your next corporate meeting. This book would have been rated a 4+ if it had a reader from Koontz or Grisham.
"10 hours to climax"
This is an ok book. It takes about 10 hours to get into it. The reader does an excellent job with the accents. Extremely good job. The end of the story is great. There were several times when thought about turning off the Otis because the storyline was, in my opinion, without action considering the circumstances
"Boring"
I've listened to many of Dean's books. He makes the "yea right, I don't think so" very believable. Not this time. Too far fetched and and the characters and their employment were very cheesy, yes, cheesy.
