I loved the story and the narrator. I don't think the ending of this story was as bad as some said, it's an ending, they can't all be happy. It's been hard for me to find a book to listen to now for a couple weeks because this one pulled me in so much. Very sad, very real, very interesting. It did make me tear up.
I don't think so. I was on edge many times, thinking something good might happen in the book however there was just too much description of little things and the plot was super weak. Give me some substance please!
I listened to the first chapter, sincerely hoping that it would make me want to take a jump and listen to book 2 but I am still deciding... I am not too excited for book 2... at all.
Emma Galvin did a great job. The story is what was not good. Her voice made Jane sound younger but really.. she acted younger anyhow.. so it was fine. The story is what needed help.
not at all. BORING.
The book was a tease. There was so much potential!!! The whole setting was excellent however the story.. bla. I want to hear more from the other witches and the rest of the coven. What about her family having powers? Why is it centered so much around this stupid Jason Guy? She took so much time to explain the details I found myself not listening to many paragraphs and I found that... it did not really matter because the writer was writing about nothing! Great potential... horrible follow through.
I love when authors take me to other worlds! Magic, love, betrayal, family.. This book lacks nothing except I did not want it to end!
I loved all of the characters. Lilly was so strong.. she has so much more of a story in her! I can't wait to hear the rest.
Always love Emma! I would buy a book just for her.
Lilly of the...worlds.
buy it if you like magic, love, power and mystery.
I really don't understand all the bad reviews. She repeats herself less in this last book than she did in her others. Her others were sooooo slow at some points and this one really had a bit more story to it. It was more like the first book to me. If you are trying to decide if you should buy this I would say go for it. It was worth it to me!!
I listened to all 4 books and let me tell you I am sad she is not writing more about Strell and Alyssa. I loved loved loved this story and will listen over and over again, something I never usually do with a book. Completely recommend the book and the narrator as a positive experience.
I love the narrator and I like the story a whole lot!! I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the series. just a note. I used to hate the narrator, couldn't get past her voice because she spoke so fast but really, push through..she has a gift and it fits this type of story perfectly!
It was ok. Not the best story, but worth the deal of 5.95.
