Abridged - it just doesn't seem like James Lee Burke. I must not have paid attention when buying this abridged version. It's too jumpy, I lost interest in it. I couldn't keep all the characters straight at points which never happened with other James Lee Burke books. I'm sure the unabridged version flows much better.
I thought this might be a good follow up read to the Happiness Advantage. This ended up being dry and textbook like. Read The Happiness Advantage and skip this one.
This is a book that will put you in a good mood. It has information, some of which you could read in a dry text book on positive psychology but this is interesting and practical. A must winter read.
If you are organized, don't waste your money. On the other hand, I am not and this book helped me a great deal.
