Freema gives us a happy, exuberant interview that makes you feel likewise enthused for the show and its talent. What a lovely person and talented actress.

The Castor, a vast and seemingly deserted starship, is spinning slowly in the void of deep space. Martha and the Doctor explore the drifting tomb and discover that they may not be alone after all. Who could have survived the disaster that overcame the rest of the crew?

Perhaps it's my copy but the sound was warbled on this audiobook, which is disappointing. The idea of the story was interesting but there's not as much action or danger as other stories in the range such as Sting of the Zygons or Nightmare of Black Island.

Civilisations rise and fall, time moves on, and species die out. Extinction is a fact of life in the universe. But extinction doesn't have to be forever. The TARDIS arrives in the Museum of the Last Ones: a facility dedicated to preserving the final specimens of every species in the universe. But all is not well, and before long the Doctor and Martha are in deep trouble.

    "Adventurous romp"
    Overall

Freema, who plays Martha on the show, reads this story beautifully. The story itself is fun and never gets boring, with lots of time given to both The Doctor and Martha. At times Martha speaks direct to the reader and those are particularly nice and unusual - insights into her thoughts.
