"Great way to continue"
The amount of detailed story telling is never lost among all the action in this book. It is well crafted and very enjoyable. The story is exciting and it's really hard to break away from it.
I enjoyed the dialog between all the players, it's intelligent and cunning.
Jay Snider is by far my favorite narrator. He's been perfect in every book I've head, and this one is no different.
This book ties in perfectly with the first one, I like it when the stories and characters are linked to the first book (and previous mentioned experiences) it adds volumes of depth to both the story and the characters.
"Not as perfect as the first 2 books, still GREAT!"
I hate to give Jay Snyder anything less than 5 stars... He is my favorite narrator, but on this particular book there was a huge amount of female dialog. And I feel that a female narrator should have been added in addition to Jay Snyder. It would have added more realism to the performance.
I really enjoyed everything that happened right after Court's rescue... The story becomes even more twisted and the action is mindblowing.
I found the first 2 books to be perfect. This one a little less, mostly due to the long stall when Court is spending so much time with a family... Soon after that it picks up and it's back to business for the Grayman. Other than that I wish this time around they would have added a female narrator for certain scenes. Other than that this is as close to perfection as you can get.
"Hard to stop listening..."
I wish I could have listened to it all in 1 sitting... It was really engaging and I had a hard time putting it down.
The high pace action and well crafted ballet of wits and survival instincts make this book really addictive. I enjoyed the story, the awesome narration... And knowing that I had 2 more sequels to look forward to make me a happy camper.
"Great story, great performance"
The story gets you involved, as soon as things start to bad (at the beginning of the story of course) you're drawn in first of all by Jay Snyder's great performance. I was truly impressed by the overall experience.
Looking forward to the second book.
"Don't like talking zombies"
better voice actors and story
Talking zombies come across as corny and destroy any chance of me getting into a good story. Sorry but that's my personal taste, it's not working for me.
The voices weren't all that great, they were overacting and annoying.
