Kudos to author Alyson Richman, and narrators George Guidall and Suszanne Toren for the most heart rendering book I've read on audible. I will be thinking about this story for a long time to come. I love the narrators' depiction of the characters and their story . I am overwhelmed and never read a book so quickly.
Two best friends finally coming together as lovers were very hot and intense. This is a true love story about best friends finally admitting their love for each. It ranks high among other love stories I've read.
Ryan and Julia were equally well defined characters giving us a clear picture of who they are and how they looked.
Two very excellent narrators.
It ends at a very important point in the story leaving me frustrated for more. I hope the continuing trilogy is ready in the immediate future.
Cunning seemed to have written this book with no depth of the characters. The story-line was pretty weak.
O'keef's characters were not narrated distinctly enough.
A real story-line showing the depth of each character.
I haven't read her other Sinners books. I hope they're better than this one.
The narrator had no change of emotion as she told the story. She showed no energy. Her voice changes for the other characters weren't bad but the storyline was not as exciting as other books of that type.
I began the book hoping for an interesting character with a special tale of why he came back to Thunderpoint. I was let down and bored so stopped reading and returned it.
Gotten a better book to narrate.
If a book doesn't catch my interest right away it means it has no depth and I'll be bored.
I have read other books by them and enjoyed them. This was just a total disappointment.
Hopefully one that has a plot and drama.
He always has done a good job with the characters in the books he narrates. But Kresley lost her touch with this one.
The book is trash and shouldn't have been published.
A teenage girl.
There was no drama worth dealing with. A common story line of identity deception for ridiculous reasons.
The narrator had to read the book she was given to read. She did the best she could.
Nothing about this book was intriguing, dramatic, compelling. Just a lot of sexual scenes.
If she's written other books I hope they have depth and quality. Otherwise I won't read them. I'm definitely returning this one.
Sarah had been in a 4 year relationship with an older prominent man seeking political office. He'd been cheating on her from the beginning and she'd had enough. She moved to NYC to start a new life, and where her best friend lived.Christina Lauren created two beautiful characters. Her first night in NYC, she joined her best friend for a party with friends at a dancing club. She was ordering shots at the bar when this gorgeous man walks over to her and begins to flirt. She decides not to give her name having no idea whether he is a dangerous pervert or not. He makes it clear he isn't and tells her that he'd like to shag her at his apartment, or hers if she'd prefer. Debating with herself that she was tempted and feeling hot and sexy she decided against it and brought the drinks to her friends waiting a their table
She hit the dance floor, began dancing erotically thinking about him and what she'd like him to do to her. She saw him watching her, his eyes ablaze wanting to shag her right there on the dance floor.
All of them.
I would like to read more of Christina Lauren's books on this level of writing. I've downloaded the Beautiful Bastard to begin another love story of two of the characters from the Beautiful Strangers.
The narrators were fabulous and brought both characters to life including the surrounding characters.
Absolutely!. I've only just started reading the book and am so taken in that I need to share.
So far every chapter is riveting.
They are all my favorites. Maya Banks delineates each brother as separate individuals, yet shows them each as loving, respectful, hot and sexy.
Yes, If I didn't work daily, I would have finished it in one day.
I've read many hot books by other wonderful authors and Maya Banks stands equal to them all. Though other reviews are about the fantasy of a woman with 3 brothers she can't resist this is definitely on top of my list.
One of the best I've ever read!
This is one of the most exciting vampire stories among several others I've listened to.
Petkoff brought each character to life. He's a consummate narrator creating the voices and images perfectly. I'd read any book he narrates.
Kresley Cole is a wonderful vampire story teller creating characters and images that come to life. I've downloaded several of her books, but this is so far the best.
