The book was interesting enough for me to keep listening . The narrator must be from Chicago and used very few contractions, the same voice for all the characters and basically monotone throughout. Though I struggled through it and I don't think you should waste a credit on this one.
The story of X and Anna brings us to how love can conquer all but in this case their story is incomplete. I hope MV is presently writing Book 2 and publishes it soon. This is one of several books by other authors that have left me hanging and I'm still waiting for the follow ups.
Now this book was written beautifully, had a wonderful story line and two awesome characters. She was cute and sassy and he was hot, tough and sweet. She's engaged but not sure he's right for her so she takes a "time out" trip from England to Colorado for time to think about what she wants in life. She went online and found a beautiful A-frame house and rented it in Colorado. When she gets there a hot mountain man lives there and has no idea about anyone renting his house trying to send her away. The interaction in between is filled with fire and challenge on both sides. She walks out and goes to her car ready to drive to the hotel. She wakes up to find herself in someone's bed alone. Read the rest of it yourself. I couldn't put it down and neither will you.
The unexpected, naivity and openness of Hannah was refreshing. What an adorable couple. I found myself laughing from some of the dialogue. The love scenes were good and not over the top but sweet and sexy. More of these books would be great! The narrators are great together. He sounds like the hunks she writes about. I'd love to see a picture of what they look like, both Seabastian and Will. Grace does a good job and they both bring the characters to life. I highly recommend this one.
I've read the other Rock Chick books by Kristen Ashley and enjoyed them. This one is poorly written with no substance. The narrator sounds high pitched and irritating. I'm really disappointed because the description sounded really interesting. Her books are usually good and I hope to find others with more depth and a new narrator.
Kudos to author Alyson Richman, and narrators George Guidall and Suszanne Toren for the most heart rendering book I've read on audible. I will be thinking about this story for a long time to come. I love the narrators' depiction of the characters and their story . I am overwhelmed and never read a book so quickly.
Two best friends finally coming together as lovers were very hot and intense. This is a true love story about best friends finally admitting their love for each. It ranks high among other love stories I've read.
Ryan and Julia were equally well defined characters giving us a clear picture of who they are and how they looked.
Two very excellent narrators.
It ends at a very important point in the story leaving me frustrated for more. I hope the continuing trilogy is ready in the immediate future.
Cunning seemed to have written this book with no depth of the characters. The story-line was pretty weak.
O'keef's characters were not narrated distinctly enough.
A real story-line showing the depth of each character.
I haven't read her other Sinners books. I hope they're better than this one.
The narrator had no change of emotion as she told the story. She showed no energy. Her voice changes for the other characters weren't bad but the storyline was not as exciting as other books of that type.
I began the book hoping for an interesting character with a special tale of why he came back to Thunderpoint. I was let down and bored so stopped reading and returned it.
Gotten a better book to narrate.
If a book doesn't catch my interest right away it means it has no depth and I'll be bored.
