I find it very welcoming to have the author as the reader, especially if the author is a comedian or performer.
Enjoyable having two stories intertwined, but not quite enveloping as I hoped for. But, after listening to some intense novels, this was a bit refreshing. I appreciated the Christian conclusion that the story presented.
I confess, I have not read the print version. But, with Tina Fey as the reader, one can assume that the audio version offers more entertainment & enjoyment.
Tina as a 10 year old and how her mother's interaction (or lack there of) preceding the inevitable beginning to puberty.
She brings fabulous inflection & comedic timing. I enjoy having the reader & author being the same, especially when the author is a performer.

Absolutely! I listened to it in two long sessions because of it's length.
Please, please use the same reader for the two other books in the series! She was fabulous! I am very anxious to listen to the rest of the series when it comes out.
