Easy Company, 506th Airborne Division, U.S. Army, was as good a rifle company as any in the world. From their rigorous training in Georgia in 1942 to D-Day and victory, Ambrose tells the story of this remarkable company, which kept getting the tough assignments. Easy Company was responsible for everything from parachuting into France early D-Day morning to the capture of Hitler's Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden. Band of Brothers is the account of the men of this remarkable unit.

Based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs conducted over two years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues—Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, this was a great book to listen too. I think I would have struggled to stay engaged if I were reading it, but it was a great book for commuting. Living in the Bay area, I had heard bits and pieces of many of these stories, but this brought a lot of things together for me in my understanding of the man Steve Jobs. Definitely an iconic figure of our time -- there are parts to love and parts to hate about the man. Readers will explore of the world of genius, of passion, and also come to the realization that Steve was a person just like you and me.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Steve Jobs?

    When he introduced the iPhone.

Did Dylan Baker do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

This could've been better - though I wasn't expecting much in this realm.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No - it was a great commute book -- took a few weeks.
