    I listened to this story after my 4th grade daughter reccomended it to me! They read it in class and I listened while doing my usual stuff. It was so amazing, gripping, sad, exciting and truly visual that I would have to stop what I was doing just to stare at my laptop! Peter Coyote is a brilliant narrator/actor and I want to hear more of his narrations now. Thank you to author Paulson for a great story. Can't wait to hear THE RIVER.

    What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

    I cannot wait to ask Audible to give me my credit back. This recording is truly horrible! Read the book, watch the film or better yet...RERECORD the audio. Plus, the abridged version of the story lack serious continuity. What a shame.

    So, the interviewer (the boy) goes "down to the corner bar where his car was parked" and then Audible goes to the music and says I hope you have enjoyed this audiobook ????? Wha??!! I have listened to audiobooks for several years now and abridged ones on many occasions but this one is ridiculous! Where is the ending??? The attempt to shorten the book is alright considering they wanted to do so but what the heck??? There is no ending! Audible...you messed this one up! And why is the unabridged version NOT available?? Thanks but no thanks..I want my credit back!
