Episode one had a lot of interesting events in it... that would happen in any "TV Show", but the second episode is talking about something different and has no mention of the first episode's events.
as a 39 minutes book, it wasn't bad, you get to know some of the weird actions that occur and start to think "Whats going on?", but that wouldn't do until you read the next books.
So overall it was ok.
Its really hard to review a less than an hour book.
Surprisingly better than the first book, and not what i was expecting. The ending of the first book hinted on a teamwork theme between Captain Lee and the new group. But the way Aftermath started was really surprising, which i really liked, and the "aftermath" was satisfying.
I'm getting the 3rd book soon, and looking forward to how it will be like, specially when you listen to the last chapter in Aftermath.
This addition was entertaining and full of events.. my favourite part was the inclusion of the e-wife and what a &^%*& she is :) But for some reason it didn't feel as major as previous books. I felt it a bit like a side story rather than a major one (not saying it was, but it felt like it). But even though, it was a good one.
New characters get to be introduced here and am looking forward for their part in future books.
Lorelei King is one of my favourite narrators, and I love her work.
Reading Molly's books are always a refreshing and entertaining experience. There wasn't anything special about this book, but it was a good refresh button for me as I have listened to a lot of books lately and needed a different book to listen to.
It was worth the wait, I have been waiting for this book since 2010, and took few days off from work so i can focus on reading it with no distractions. Brandon Sanderson is an amazing author. I have assumed so many different things would happen in this book during the past four years, but what Brandon Sanderson did was unexpected and wonderful!!!.
This book, this series is not something simple, you have a vast world to explore and plenty of culture to understand. And that is one of Sanderson's most gifted talents , creating such a world, which you can easily understand and feel like you are a part of.
The Way of Kings was focused on introducing all these characters and this new world, etc.. But Words of Radiance was focused on developing these characters and connecting them in some cases... And it was focused on developing the story itself, were i was shocked many many many times.
I loved this book (not shockingly) and I'm waiting already for the next book. If you loved The Way of Kings you will love this book even more. If you don't know what I am talking about, then click on view series and go read the reviews in The way of kings, and buy it. You will love it!!!!
I wanted to be the first in reviewing Words of Radiance, but I would not speed up the narration just for a review :) had to enjoy the book, was waiting for it for 4 years, so why would i speed it up ??!! :)
This is one of my favourite books in this series. As usual lots of action , events, and death, but lots of hard decisions to make too.
I have enjoyed this book all the way through, and its ending was hard and it wasn't easy , but i have found it to be really good.
I wonder whats going to happen next!!
Timmy is such an evil creation!!! All the way through this book am thinking how emil this guy is how the hell can he do all of that...
Mark Tufo is a great author, and he did something that I haven't seen in other books yet, he wrote a zombie's perspective of things, and its scary..
I have enjoyed, but i have to go back to my therapy sessions now!!! am late for them!!! Bye!!!!
What can I say here, This book was amazing all the way through.. Its beginning was good and different and the whole book was different than usual, I have really enjoyed this book.. It was full of everything (action, love, hate, and everything)!!!!
Much much development to all the characters, all of them, and too many things got fixed and corrected.
Narration is as good as always.
Really loved this book.
This book continues the first one, too many things happened here and too many actions taken.. You get to know about Exodus and how they operate. But the best part in this book is that you can't expect how it ends... its ending was fantastic and how things will go from now is up for the imagination.
Larry Correia and Mike Kupari did a great job in this book.. I can't wait for the next one.
And narration by Bronson Pinchot was one of THE best narrations I have ever heard, he did a fantastic job narrating all these characters, and their emotions.
This book is a bit different than Larry's other books. But i liked it!!! Its better that you have a listen to it, its a different work, and cool weapons.
Why am i giving it 4 stars? because it was short!!!! This book could have been 5 hours longer or more... it felt like a short story somehow.. Things happened a bit fast in it and i didn't have the time to enjoy it much.... it finished way to fast.
But for anyone who wants a good shortish story, then this is your pick.
I got this book only because Larry Correia was one of the authors. Adding to it Bronson Pinchot as the narrator and it was sold!! This book is a bit similar to Monster Hunter International without the monsters part.. And whats new in it that you have 2 main characters, which for some reason took a while to notice (similar names). One of them is a patriot and the other is a criminal and a thief. Its a good mix and certain events lead them to interact with each other.
What i didn't like is the creation of a new country to plot this story around, So basically there is all the countries that we know about, that are currently existing, but why did they have to create a new country to plot this story around?? it was a bit annoying.
And narration was amazing, Bronson Pinchot is talented and his narration is fantastic. His ability to change accents and languages was really good.
Oh and action wise, full full full of action and guns.. Amazing!!!!
Pre-ordered book 2 already.
