"Episode 1 Was Better."
Episode one had a lot of interesting events in it... that would happen in any "TV Show", but the second episode is talking about something different and has no mention of the first episode's events.
as a 39 minutes book, it wasn't bad, you get to know some of the weird actions that occur and start to think "Whats going on?", but that wouldn't do until you read the next books.
So overall it was ok.
P.S.
Its really hard to review a less than an hour book.
"Where Does Brandon Come up With These Ideas?!!"
Brandon Sanderson is truly one of the greatest authors.. So far every single book he released was amazing and The Rithmatist is a good example.
When I read the summary of this book before, i'll be honest I didn't understand what was the book about, but I bought the book anyway just because of the author, and I don't regret it at all.
I am going to be basic here, The Rithmatists are people who can defend and attack by drawing things and bringing them to life. (This is to clear what is going on exactly)
One of the things that I liked about this book was the world itself, this book's world is our world with some changes, but still this world, and actually liked that (didn't have to understand and remember different countries and so on)
Another good thing is that the plot. It doesn't go as you would have expected, there are few things that go the other way, which is always appreciated.
Brandon Sanderson gave us another great book, gave a fantastic ending which could lead to so many possibilities in the future... I'm sure there will be future books after this one.
If you are wondering wether to buy this book or not, then i would say go and BUY IT NOW!!!! If you liked Brandon Sanderson's books before, you will like this one too. and if you never heard of Brandon Sanderson, then just buy it anyway, you will love his work.
"Black Jack Going BackHome Again and Again!!!"
oh Black Jack is back, and people are not as stupid as they were in previous books. Many challenges come in this boo, but to be honest i did predict some of them.. so they were not as sudden as i hoped they could be.
I do love those funny moments when they come in these books, and in this one it had some fun fun times. you'll know what i mean
Love the narration and the author and looking forward for the next book as this book will give you a good idea of what could happen in the next book, and how good it looks like it will be.
"I Mark This Book As "FUNNY""
short review:
Book is full of sex as usual, but it was funny, I can't say why but you will understand. My main concern is Acheron and in this book you get to know more about his powers and what he can do. damn can't wait to read the book which will be about him.
In this book there is a small twist, its not like the previous books, so you will like it.
"Shockingly Good!!"
My annoying brother kept on asking me to buy this book saying it was good.. the annoying thing he is saying that while he didn't buy it too..
But you know how brothers could get annoying, so he bought it through my account and then told me he did... Anyways, I had a listen to it, and shockingly i liked nit. Its a bit similar to hunger games and Divergent as everyone is saying.. but its not really the same, actually i found some similarity (a tiny bit) to the passage.
I liked the idea of having two characters which the story is being told through. thats a good thing in my book. The book is not too short, and not too long, its just prefect length.
Things didn't go easy in this book, and you could some how feel the hardship these people are going through. and there is a deeper plot going through the book, its not clear yet, so waiting to read the next two books.
Good book, Great Plot. you will like it.
"Joe Ledger is Damn Good!!"
This book was awesome, liked it more than the previous book. I really wanna explain here why i liked this book. But the smallest slip and you will press "No" down below so i'll be careful.
This book started good, i mean really really good. Then it was really fun, then again damn good. This how was the book the whole way through it, I either laughed from a joke, or was intensely focused on what was going on.
New characters come to play in this bok. and major action is going through the whole thing.. i really can't explain more other than if you didn't ready this series yet, so grap the first book and all of them and read them NOW!!!
What do you want me to say more? Narration was good? Author is good???? YOU KNOW THAT ALREADY!!! A great series
"I'm Tired from all the love"
First of all, i'm reading these books because they have a good plot, i like the idea of having all these gods around, it makes a good story.
Each book i read, including this one, was a good book.... but i'm just freaking tired from all the sex scenes in these books... i know that i'm at book 4 and still more than 10 to go.. but still.. having each book talking primarily about how incredibly sexy someone is or how hot the other is... its just boring afterwards.
so ya, i'm reading tese books for the plot and to know what wil happen in the future for all o these characters including Acheron.
This book what i liked about it is that it showed and dove into the life of one of the characters who was there in the 2nd book and is not a dark hunter who will ask for his soul back in the end of the book.
"First it was weird, but then AWESOME!!"
At first when I started this book, I was thinking its going to be awesome because it was a recommendation from the great author Brandon Sanderson, as Brian McClellan was a student of his. But after a chapter or two, it had a bit of confusion in it. I have assumed that the detective is the lead character at first, then I got a bit lost with the names of some of the characters.
That was the down side, the plus side was is plenty: story was good, specially towards the end of the book. A great ending which lets you think what the hell is going to happen in the next book. some funny twists here and there. Narration was good Christian did a good job with the characters, although it could have been better.
What I recommend is after you listen to it the first time, to give it another listen so you would understand everything that is going on, specially the beginning.
Waiting for the next book to come, don't be late.
"Its Official, it a great series"
Ok then, here you get it all, a lot of the characters during this whole series are either there or talked about, so many dots get connected and so many questions come up, the main question for sure is "WHO THE ^&%# IS BEHIND ALL OF THIS??"
Let me say this book is all about earth and its future, you are going to love this book if you are a fan of this series. Its the best book.
Looking forward to see what will happen in the upcoming series .
"Its Tarmon Gai’do 5 Stars not enough"
I'm not one of those who started reading this series in 1990, maybe (and thats just maybe) because i was 3 back then, but thats just a maybe.
I started reading this saga last year, and although i fell in love with it, I feel like I HAVE TO read the whole saga another couple of times to catch every single thing.
From the beginning of this book it was war, and I felt part of it, I was with Talmanes, Elayne, Egwene, Gawyn, Galad, Lan Mandragoran, Birgitte, Perrin, and Mat. I felt like I was with every soldier. Honestly I felt tired during this war, and when there was no hope, I really felt it, I was just staring at nothing when I was 75% through, couldn't focus at anything... elt like losing the will to live... I don't think I was ever emerged and engaged with any book as this one.
There were moments here that I felt like shouting saying NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! other times I wanted to dance. This book was packed with everything .
Kate Reading and Michael Kramer as always did a great job with this book, You can feel them loving what they have done, what I mean is these characters were not just characters, they were real people. Kate and Michael gave them life with there narration.
Brandon Sanderson did an amazing job, I'm a big fan of his books and he did a fantastic job with this one. I knew it was going to be a good and a great book, but it was truly an EPIC BOOK. Everything here was EPIC.
Thanks to Robert Jordan for his epic saga and thanks to Brandon Sanderson for doing a fantastic job for giving us a great end to this saga.
"Prolog is great (but its there in the last book )"
It was really amazing, but see, i have bought this prolog and the last book together, without reading anything, and i was a bit shocked when the same thing was repeated in the last book. If you are thinking of buying this, well its not that important to buy as that same prolog is in the 14th book .
So reviewing a prolog.. it was really amazing, you get to know a new enemy and it would focus on what happens after the prolog of the previous book.
Just get ready for a good ride
