Don't waste your credit! I have been a Jonathan Kellerman fan from the first Alex Delaware novel. Read or listened to them all. This book was so boring if I could get my credit back I would. The story is weak with absolutely NO excitement and very little of the humor that is normally interjected between the characters. I certainly hope Jonathan was just having a bad year and not starting to get stale in his writing.
A good narrator might have made this book bearable but considering the narration was just as bad if not worse than the story it made it impossible to listen to.
In every way possible.
It would have all gone into the trash can.
All total I have over 635 books in my library and this one makes the top of the list for the worst book I have ever purchased! I was desperate for a new series so I thought I would give this author and narrator a try. I am not sure which was worse, the author or the narrator. Save your credit it wouldn't be worth you time if it were free.
A great short story that leaves you wanting more, but that is true with all of Lisa's books no matter how long they are! Just love this author! Thumbs up!!
I don't think Lisa Gardner could write a bad story if she tried. The worst part about her books is that have to come to an end. She is one of the very few authors I actually go back and re-listen to. Even with the change in narrators this book was very well read and consistent with her previous narrators! Fabulous as usual Lisa!!
Yes to the author and NO to the narrator! A little bit of an amateur but the author has promise. The narration on the other hand is terrible. The book would have been much better with a different narrator.
He definitely shows promise
The only thing Scott Brick should narrate is eulogies. Enough said
Sure, the characters are interesting and fun.
Get a different narrator
