  • Victims: An Alex Delaware Novel

    • UNABRIDGED (11 hrs and 44 mins)
    • By Jonathan Kellerman
    • Narrated By John Rubinstein
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Unraveling the madness behind L.A.’s most baffling and brutal homicides is what sleuthing psychologist Alex Delaware does best. And putting the good doctor through his thrilling paces is what mystery fiction’s #1 bestselling master of psychological suspense Jonathan Kellerman does with incomparable brilliance. Kellerman’s universally acclaimed novels blend the addictive rhythms of the classic police procedural with chilling glimpses into the darkest depths of the human condition. For the compelling proof, look no further than Victims....

I have read every book in this series and every new book that comes out is a cause for celebration in my house. This one did not fail my expectations at all! For those of you who are familiar with the series, it will bring back some memories from the first books. It's a true riddle, gruesome and twisted, with surprises left and right, for Alex and Milo. I found myself clenching my fists several times in suspense. The narration by John Rubinstein is as superb as always. This is definitely one of my favourites from Mr. kellerman.

  • The Paris Letter (Dramatization)

    • UNABRIDGED (1 hr and 44 mins)
    • By Jon Robin Baitz
    • Narrated By Neil Patrick Harris, John Glover, Josh Radnor, and others

The latest work from one of America's most important young playwrights and creator of the current hit TV series, "Brothers and Sisters". Financial powerhouse Sandy Sonnenberg finds his personal and professional life threatened by unraveling secrets from his past. A tragic game of financial and moral betrayal plays out over four decades, with an exacting price - family, friends, love and marriage. Starring members of the original Off-Broadway production.

    Polcamp says: "All encompassing"
"A tale of self-deception and consequences"
What made the experience of listening to The Paris Letter (Dramatization) the most enjoyable?

This was the first play of Jon Robin Baits I have listened to so far and it was touching and thought-provoking. The plot encompasses several decades and characters, but is easy to follow. The story remained on my mind for days after. Each actor delivered a wonderful performance!

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

I especially liked Anton, the narrator of the story. There was an unapologetic quality to him, a man who knows who he is and remains true to himself. He manages to remain involved and somewhat objective at the same time. John Glover is one of my favourite actors and he was as moving as always.

    Any additional comments?

I am looking forward to listening to other plays by this author. I have seen his TV creation, the drama Brothers And Sisters, and now I value him as a playwright as well.

  • Thriller 2: Stories You Just Can't Put Down

    • UNABRIDGED (14 hrs and 28 mins)
    • By Clive Cussler (editor)
    • Narrated By full cast

From Jeffery Deaver's tale of international terrorism to Lisa Jackson's dysfunctional family in the California wine country to Ridley Pearson's horrifying serial killer, this collection has something for everyone. Twenty-three best-selling and hot new authors in the genre have submitted original stories to make up this unforgettable blockbuster.

Amazon Customer says: "IMHO Suspense doesn't work in bits and pieces"
"A variety of styles and voices"

This collection introduced me to some unfamiliar authors and allowed me to revisit some familiar ones. The narrators are superb and the writing is excellent! There is a great joy in sampling small portions of each author and looking forward to reading more of their work later on.

Would you listen to Our Game again? Why?

The plot and writing captures me time and time again.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The twists are unexpected and nothing is as it seems. Classic Le Carre!
