No greater threat exists than that which waits in the depths of the distant Maw Cluster: A being of pure, ravenous dark-side energy named Abeloth calls out across the stars to Jedi and Sith alike. For some it may be the ultimate source of answers crucial to their survival. For others it could be the ultimate weapon of conquest. But for all, it is a game-changingand life-altering encounter of untold magnitude and a tactical gambit with unimaginable consequences.

Would you listen to Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Backlash again? Why?

Yes, it includes new characters, sith antagonists, corrupt government officials, and jedi vs sith lightsaber battles.

Have you listened to any of Marc Thompson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Marc Thompson is by far the best audio book voice over I've ever came across.

Tassaa Bareesh, a matriarch in the Hutt crime cartel, is holding an auction that’s drawing attention from across the galaxy. Representatives of both the Republic and the Sith Empire are present, along with a Jedi Padawan sent to investigate, a disenfranchised trooper drummed out of the Republic’s elite Blackstar Squad, and a mysterious Mandalorian with a private agenda.

Would you consider the audio edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance to be better than the print version?

I've not read the print version

What did you like best about this story?

It takes two opposing forces and joins them together against a more powerful enemy. That's always an interesting twist on a story.

What does Marc Thompson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His subtle voice inflections and tones of the voices bring life to the words in a way that simply reading the text won't do. His words seem to paint a picture of the scene around you.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I wouldn't spoil it for others but when a Sith Lord is forced to work together with a Jedi Apprentice to foil a foe the dynamics and manipulation were especially interesting.
