"Great Audiobook"
Great audiobook! It tells in every aspect one can imagine how the global geopolitc power is shifting from the west to the east, specially to China and how that affects the western way of life.
It is a required book to understand the current situation of the planet and many major discussions like climate, technology, entrepreneurship and specially, Democracy
"My first in the genre, and I say it was good!"
The book is very interresting. I disagree with some arguments but we got to say the author knows what he's talking about.
Something I would point out for the first time reader is to pay attention to the author's biography and not just take everything he says.
For sure it is worth reading!
Enjoy!
"good, but missing a lot of stuff"
The whole approach of the book is descriptive, nothing teaching how to implement any of what he talks about. It's Cool to see what's happening on the field.
I think a chapter about big data, Map reduce and machine learning is missing. These are new and interesting fields that are very popular in todays crunching environment. would be cool if he would cite examples of tools so the reader can do his own crunching.
Well.. th Book is a good read if you're trying to know what it is, not how to do it. And the topics I cited above are things to research for after this book
"Good lecture, reaaallly bad recording"
The lecture is cool but the audio quality is so low that you need to like the content a lot just to get through it
"Really good performance"
This is the first time I take a more complex fiction book on Audible. I've read this book before and now I tried the audio version. I must say that the format is not the best for this kind of books, which need complete and exclusive attention, so reading would be recommended.
Altough that, the narrator is amazing. The way he interprets the book is great!
I suggest reading the book first and then taking the audiobook
"Simple and smart"
As an Economics student I must say that most of the authors in economics try to say simple things in a hard way, specially is they are neo-liberal ones.
Stiglitz makes an amazing argument and explains step by step.
This book made me structure much better my own thinking of equality and the role of government in our society.
"Very Interesting!"
I liked this audiobook very much specially because of the "practical" approach the author gives to the Russian History. He and his personal experience as a journalist in Russia during the late 20th century make it specially interesting.
I've listened to other audiobooks on Russian History, including Stalin's biography and I couldn't keep focused as on this one.
I really enjoyed this audiobook and so far, three weeks after buying it, I've heard it more than twice
"Great book, but needs a PDF"
Venture Capital has a lot of tricky names and concepts, they explain them well and clearly
There could be a PDF file along with the book with all the examples and numbers cited... not always you can write them all down, and to follow the thinking it could be easier than to copy them in a paper and follow the audio
"Very good article from Porter"
The arguments presented on the articles
Porter's article
No, I haven't
no
does anyone know where to get a good transcript of this text?
