"Fiasco"
Unbelievably good. Once you start reading it, you can't put it down. Not recommended for Bush fans though or anyone else that thinks he was telling the truth this whole six years. The amazing thing about this book is that it appears to be non-partisan. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth
"WOW!"
This is the best book I have read or listened to in 60 years of reading. This book actually changed my life and my thinking and made me terrible sad that these two people are no longer leading our country.
I now believe that Eleanor Roosevelt is the greatest Woman Leader of our time.
"Hubris"
If you want to learn the truth about Iraq and enjoy a book at the same time. Read this. It's excellent and gives the truth to what happened over there.
"Soldier"
This book is a wonderful lesson in history and what it takes to make a General in the military. Although I found it interesting, I was disappointed in the fact that there is no emotion to speak of. His children and family seem like they are in a back closet somewhere and not even a part of his life. His experience dealing with Bush and Rumsfield was particularly interesting to me.
"Thunderstruck"
This book is so interesting and full of history. I highly recommend it, and was one of those books that I had a hard time putting it down.
"Marley and Me"
This book is excellent. The author writes with his whole heart and it's a laugh out loud experience. I loved it and was so sorry that it was over. If you love dogs, you'll love this book.
"Cross"
I believe I've read all of the books with Alex Cross as the main character and they are getting less interesting each time. This plot is ridiculously unbelievable as it has the worst villain ever. I hope we can get back to ordinary mysteries without the bizare nonsense. I really don't recommend it.
"Truman (Unabridged)"
After spending 40 hours listening to "No Ordinary Time", I expected the same kind of "can't put it down" reading. This book is so boring and the narrator makes it even worse. I listened as long as I could and then deleted it.
