It is different to listen to Decline and Fall than to read it. Listening to it allows one to experience the visualization of fight scenes and what was going on in a stronger way. I've owned a copy of the full series since I was 14 and this is a beautiful accompaniment to the written version.
This stands alone as an epic classic.
The World Will Continue These Tales for Generations to Come...
If you are not afraid of the sheer mass of Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire - get this and listen away... you will have adventure, intrigue and hours of listening pleasure.
Never read the Print version
The author showing that both the right and the left have what he terms "Wingnuts."
No, but I would be interested in reading others because this was very good.
Right, Left, take your pick - they're all crazy!
Wingnuts gives a great look at the fringe elements in both the Right-Wing and Left-Wing of the country. Both sides will cringe or puff up in defense of their people. It gives a good smack-down of those considered extreme.
The concept that our minds are able to do what is needed to take care of us. Even things that we would think are crazy, really aren't... they're just the mind adapting.
There's too much to say... I will let the reader determine that for themselves
Solid performance in the role of the author.
The ACA is a monster of a law and "Beating Obamacare..." attempts to go through the law, not only showing how different parts of the law interact with other laws, but gives specific details about how this law will impact people. These details are not found anywhere else that I have found.
The narration is good and maybe it is the subject matter that drags it down just a little bit but overall it stays interesting if you want to know what it is all about.
The author presents the book as not being slanted for or against the law but, it gives the impression of the author being against the law. This is fine though because what comes out very clear is the facts of what you will learn about the law that no one else will tell you. On that issue alone I recommend this to EVERYONE.
Learning about the intricacies of the law that I have not seen anywhere else or that are just now starting to dribble out to the American people.
She is consistent in her reading. It is a tough subject and she holds her own.
Not something I think anyone could listen to in one sitting because of the depth of the information.
