The book contains astonishing information about the Mayans, about their cities, and about mankind itself. The secrets are so powerful that some people would do anything to possess them - as the Fargos are about to find out. Before their adventure is done, many men and women will die for that book - and Sam and Remi may just be among them.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have listenerd to more than 25 of Clive Cussler's books read by Scott Brigg! This is one of the best! Don't know why I waited so long to download. Maybe it was the graphic of the novel? This one has so many twist and turns and sub-plots.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dirik Pitt always comes through in the end.....he's a novelistic superman!

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He helps you live the characters raw emotions.
