Technology may be different in 2060 New York, yet the city is still a place of many cultures and great divides. And as ever, some murders receive more attention than others - especially those in which the victim is a prominent businessman found in his Park Avenue apartment tied to the bed - and strangled - with cords of black velvet.

I dont agree that this was boring. I would say it was too long breaking down the why and how, since Eve already knew the who. I loved getting an update on Charles and Louise and the jokes and banter between the characters alwasy make me laugh out loud as if they are really chating and I am involved. To me these stories are real and easy to get your self wrapped up in. The story was interesing and murderer is easy to dislike from the beggining (very annyoying and mean).
Happy reading. On to Book 27...

Part one of this series is great and Phil Giganti was an awesome narrator for part one. I have no understanding why they would switch the narrator with one that is just so bad. In book one Phil Giganti gave Leila a New York accent in this book you can't tell the difference between the women and who are the men. I am just trying to get through because the story really is good and I'm looking forward to book 3. Unless you get these stories at a lower rate like I did you are better off reading book don't waste your credit. The story is really interesting Nora Roberts really is a great author. I'm a JD Robb fan and these stories don't disappoint. Happy Reading!

Syneda holds all men at arm's length because of the father whose name she never knew. Clayton has always been a playboy, and no woman has ever come close to keeping his interest for very long. Things suddenly heat up between them when Syneda impulsively accepts Clayton's invitation to join him for a Florida vacation, and is shocked by how much passion she feels.

I read this book years ago and I love love love Brenda Jackson books. This is one of my favorites I figure oh great I can listen to it too. Not so much...the narrator is sooo boring he draws everything out and is soo monotone. I am trying to digest it and get through it because it really is a great story Clayton and Syneda are super hot. Good luck getting through the story that is only reason I gave it a 3 overall. Happy Listening.

I have read all the books to date and I love them so much that I had to buy the audible versions. I feel so bad for the injustice that was done to the New Species but I am equally happy that they found their mates. I love all the books and everyones story. The narrator is good she does a good job with the characters ( I guess I just wish it was a deep voice for the NEW Species MALES casue they are sooo big , and STRONG ...). Happy Listening and beware the intimate parts are verry intimate.

For Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the NYPSD, the job is a useful reminder of what she has to be grateful for this season. Hosting Roarke's big Irish family for the holiday may be challenging, but it’s a joyful improvement on her own dark childhood. Other couples aren’t as lucky as Eve and Roarke. The Reinholds, for example, are lying on the floor of their Downing Street apartment, stabbed and bludgeoned almost beyond recognition. Those who knew them are stunned - and even more heartbroken by the overwhelming evidence that they were murdered by their own son.

JD Robb this is now my second favorite. This story touched me becasue I have a child and you just cant imagine how someone can do this. Being part of the award ceramony for Roarke and Eve was so touching I was as emotional as the family. This was a really really good story. I had to listen to it all the way through, it was just that good. If you have not listened to the others in the series please do yourself a mental service and please listen to them all of them. There are alot but I am not disappointed they are all really good. I so want to be a part of the Roarke and Eve family. Susan Ericksen deserves kudos as well she has been a awesome narrator all these characters come to life becasue of her. HAPPY LISTENING!! Cant wait till the next and the next and the next....

Christina Bennett had taken London society by storm. The ravishing beauty guarded the secret of her mysterious past until the night Lyon, Marquis of Lyonwood, stole a searching, sensuous kiss. But the feisty and defiant Christina would not be so easily conquered. Mistress of her heart and of her fortune, she resisted Lyon's sensuous caresses.

I liked the story but I was so annoyed with the narrator. I wish I could tell you why but she was just not good. I liked her in The Secret but in this story it just didnt work. I think I would have enjoyed the book more if I had read it. I really like Julie Garwoods stories and for that reason I will probably just read the rest of the series.

Judith Hampton was as beautiful as she was proud and loyal. Her dear Scottish friend from childhood was about to give birth, and Judith had promised to be at her side. But there was another reason for the journey from her bleak English home to the Highlands: to meet the father she had never known, the Laird Maclean. Nothing prepared her, however, for the sight of the Scottish barbarian who was to escort her into his land...Iain Maitland, laird of his clan, a man more powerfully compelling than any she had ever encountered.

Mira and Kellan how awesome. Thank you Lara for continuing the series. I am addicted to these stories. It was also nice that she incorporated the Original Order and now we get to be a part of their kids and how they have matured have become an integral part of The Order. Hilary Huber is perfect she brings this story to life for me. If you have not heard the entire series you are short changing yourself. Happy listening I am patiently awaiting the next one.

On Manhattan’s Upper East Side, a woman lies dead at the bottom of a brownstone’s basement steps, stripped of all her valuables. Most cops might call it a mugging gone wrong, but Lieutenant Eve Dallas knows better. A well-off accountant and a beloved wife and mother, Marta Dickenson doesn’t seem the type to be on anyone’s hit list. But when Eve and her partner, Peabody, find blood inside the brownstone, she knows Marta’s murder is the work of a killer who’s trained, yet not professional or smart enough to remove all the evidence.

Eveline Armstrong is fiercely loved and protected by her powerful clan, but outsiders consider her "touched." Beautiful, fey, with a level, intent gaze, she doesn't speak. No one, not even her family, knows that she cannot hear. Content with her life of seclusion, Eveline has taught herself to read lips and allows the outside world to view her as daft. But when an arranged marriage into a rival clan makes Graeme Montgomery her husband, Eveline accepts her duty -unprepared for the delights to come.

I started reading this series with "Caressed by Ice" because Audible was running a special for $4.95. I have to say Audible that is the best way to get someone hooked on a Author you've never read before.
Needless to say I loved that story so much that I just had to hear it from the beginning of the series.
NOW-On with my review of Slave to Sensation. WOW!!! this is the first book of this series and it was AWESOME. I love Lucas and Sasha's story. Nalini Singh is now one of my favorite authors, and as for Angela Dawe well let me just tell you this narrator is one of the best I have heard.
She is great telling these stories and making you feel like you are really part of it. I mean you cant help it's so addictive that you just have to know what happens next. The characters are fantastic and the voices she does are perfect. Makes you want to be part of the DarkRiver and SnowDancer pack/family. The characters all have their own voice Angela brings life to the character.
You get to know everyone by their own voice.
Well...HAPPY listening. I am ready to go onto Faith and Vaughn's story book #2 of this series.
