Wow what a new take on Cinderella. If you love science fiction with a true evil Queen this is for you. The Cindrella in this book is totally the most creative take on Cinderella you'll ever come across. Great concept, great story.
My only problem with this book is the ending. There isn't one. I know it's part of a series, but I like at least a clean ending point. The ending literally left you in the middle of the action.
I still would reccomend this as a great read.
Al, the 100 year old man switches between telling his life's story and in the present day a whole new adventure is being played out. He and all of his friends along the way develop into such an interesting down to earth people. It was so funny through out that I didn't want it to end. Worth every penny,
Cute story line, but I get the feeling that she wants to have some quirky/different characters but she doesn't pull it off,
It was an okay story, but I wouldn't buy it again if I were given the choice.
Loved the concept, liked the story. The story draws you in and you really can't quit till the end. My Only complaint is that it was a little to long and there was way to much of the same
situation happening over and over. Got on my nerves a couple of times.
That being said, I did like the story
There not one story in this collection I could acctually sit back and say wow that was good.
There was not one story in this collection I could even say pretty good. Not one.
I don't know excactly how to describe it. Some where just stupid. Some were boring. Some were both. Do yourself a favor and svae your credits.
I've listened to all of the Dresden files series. There is not one that I wouldn't read again and again. The characters are engaging. Dresden is witty and fun, even when he is getting the beaten to a pulp. The relationships are precious and consantly evolving. The story's are action packed, fun and very creative. Read them all!!! you won't be disappointed.
You love, hate, feel compassion and then terror for the wife, then the husband. Your'e left feeling nothing but dread! What a story.
This author twists the story up, down and sideways. The story pulls you in and plays with your emotions all the way through. Please do yourself a favor and read this book.
I read the first 2 books in the Oxford Time Travel series and LOVED them. This book was a real disappointment compared to the others. In this book, unlike the others, there was no character that I could really loved or even liked all that much. Connie was so great in her characters in the other books! The storyline was okay, not great. If this were the first book I had read by her, I would never had tried another. I know this author can and has been great, but not this time.
This book truely gets painful. It drones on and on and I found myself drifting away from the story qiute often. Don't spend your money!
This writer so fully develops the characters that you just absolutely love them or hate them. The plot pulls you in so that I found myself wanting to yell at times or cry. Don't miss this book.
