In a locked Honolulu office building, three men are found dead with no sign of struggle except for the ultrafine, razor-sharp cuts covering their bodies. The only clue left behind is a tiny bladed robot, nearly invisible to the human eye. In the lush forests of Oahu, groundbreaking technology has ushered in a revolutionary era of biological prospecting. Trillions of microorganisms, tens of thousands of bacteria species, are being discovered; they are feeding a search for priceless drugs and applications on a scale beyond anything previously imagined.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

. In "Micro" the characters were one dimensional, the story events were eccessively violent without any resemblence to realism, and there was no character I felt any sympathy for. I am glad noone will be able to use Crichtons name and reputation falsely again.

What was most disappointing about Michael Crichton and Richard Preston ’s story?

    Characters and plot

How could the performance have been better?

More realistic. Make the characters act like real people and craft a realistic plot.

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

What would have made Fifty Shades of Grey better?

Nothing. It was just bad porn. The characters had no depth or intelligence. They showed no ability to act with dignity or class. They entered into relationships that only demeaned themselves and their partners

What could E. L. James have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    Include elements that interest me.

Would you be willing to try another one of Becca Battoe’s performances?

    no

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    none.

    Any additional comments?

    no.
