Bobby Phillips is an average 15-year-old boy. Until the morning he wakes up and can't see himself in the mirror. Not blind, not dreaming, Bobby is just plain invisible. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to Bobby's new condition; even his dad the physicist can't figure it out. For Bobby that means no school, no friends, no life. He's a missing person. Then he meets Alicia. She's blind, and Bobby can't resist talking to her, trusting her.

What did you like best about this story?

Loved the character development and seeing through the eyes of someone blind. I liked the comparisons of being blind and being invisible. Liked how the characters made interesting choices about their disabilities.

It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn't know about her grandmother or the grave danger she has lived in her whole life.

Although somewhat predictable, I did like this second book in the series. I am looking forward to the third book. My only regret is that I came upon this series before all the books were completed. Now I have to wait!

When seven-year-old Julianna meets new neighbor, Bryce, she flips over him, but he flees from her. For years, she tries to get close to him, and he runs away. In eighth grade, when Bryce takes a second look at Julianna it’s his turn to flip. But is he too late? Award-winning author Wendelin Van Draanen creates a dual perspective in Flipped that is enhanced by the narration of Andy Paris and Carine Montbertrand.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the same incident described by each character. The two person narrative made it that much more real.

    Both get my applause!

    Yes!

Bayport High's Varsity cheer squad is made up of the hottest of the hot. But this A-list is dangerous in more ways than one. The Squad is actually a cover for the most highly trained group of underage government operatives the United States has ever assembled. They have the perfect cover, because, beyond herkeys and highlights, no one expects anything from a cheerleader.

What did you love best about Anne of Green Gables?

I love Anne of Green Gables. The story never grows old even after the fourth time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Anne of Green Gables?

The tender moments between Anne and Matthew and the budding romance between Anne and Gilbert, of course, are memorable. Anne's exuberant personality is most outstanding.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Victoria McGee?

Victoria doesn't quite capture the spirit of Anne. She's a little stiff for Anne but does a better job with Murilla.
