Walter Mosley thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing Easy back even if this is the final book. I was half in love with Easy Rawlings and afraid of Mouse! I never thought Bonnie would be back! This is among my top 10 books!
The late L.A. Banks wrote books that mesmerized me also. Larry Correira's Monster Hunter's books and Kim Harrison's Hollows series kept me fascinated!
I love his voice! He is fabulous. I know Walter Mosley has to be happy with this performance! All the books in the series! He was just as good as Denzel Washington in the movie!
He came back from the dead! So happy he didn't die and his promise to tell Feather all about her mother was touching!
Walter Mosley you are a magnificent writer!
Yes, this book met my expectations. I knew little of the complexity of the Black and Indian struggle. don’t think the writing style took anything away from Lalita Tademy made Cow Tom’s story have the weight needed to explain the beginnings and the desire to strive ahead and succeed against all odds. The fact that he knew so many languages and was such a caring person brought value to me. Lalita really had me at the edge of my chair after Rose’s story began, maybe because I like history from a woman’s perspective – the book really came alive in Part 2 and 3.
I love Jane Yellow Rock. She is loyal to Alex and Eli and protects the fang bangers even when it goes against the grain to do do. Christine Vham is a fantastic narrator. I love Bruiser and Jane together in and his accent sounds sexy as h*ll! Beast is evolving and I hope Leo the MOC is always has an agenda causing all to look out.
Yes this book met my expectations, Merit has been waiting for Sentinel has morphed into a fantastic guard for the house. Ethan does not play when it comes to Merit and the House. I really look forward to the next in the series, Chicago is a tough supernatural city!
I really have enjoyed the growth of this paranormal fighting team. I knew Nick was going to have to deal with attraction to the vampire princess and love that he is one of the few who didn't get mating sickness! I hope this isn't the end of the series but if so....
I couldn't stop listening. It was like coming back to old friends. I love Vlad and Leila. I have the ebook but really enjoyed the audio version due to Tavia's familiar portrayal of Bones, Kat and many more. I look forward to the next book Jeaniene Frost writes. Long time fan!
I really enjoyed this story. I wasn't too crazy about the abduction aspect but love matches are made in stranger ways. I will continue to follow this author and series.
Number 40 is awesome! Eve is at her best. Love all the characters, like the way the character thinks. Really like the closeness between the dear friends Dallas has acquired. The narrator is just amazing. Keep up the good work. I swear this series could be turned into a tv series. J.D. Robb is a sensational story teller.
For better or worse, I read all the reviews before I started the book. In fact, I have long awaited for Burned next book in this series whether it was about Mac, Baron’s or Dani’s; I just wanted the story to continue. So after I read the reviews I was prepared to be underwhelmed.
I think Karen Marie Moening’s Burned was genius, surprising and fantastic. For those who complained about Dani’s age – she addressed it. Mac and Baron’s relationship continued as I expected it to full of love, lust and controversy. The nuances of the actions of the Unseelie King, the 9 and the “evil book” confounded me as a reader. As an author Karen wrote a book to be proud of. Yes, I missed “mega” but that’s what happens some books don’t just have a happy expected ending. I can’t wait for the next in this series. I rarely “tweet” but I have to go on line and give a big shout out to this fanciful, whimsical story!
I loved the narrators too!
JoAnn Walker has evolved as a Shaman and has finally got Mike as her man forever. I was really said to see one of the characters demise but it was a fitting ending. Ms. Murphy thanks and please tell me you have more books coming especially if she runs into Jane Yellowrock again.
Now that I am used to the writing style and understanding the story is building, I am enjoying the story like a soap opera. Little cats and portals equal the secret to be revealed in the next book. I really like the queens!
