Joy Randall's Top-five tips for vampire hunters: Location, location, location. Vampires won't be caught dead (ha!) in places like discos, 10-minute lube shops, or Switzerland. Remember, if you wouldn't be there, neither would a bloodsucker. Trust your eyes. You know the handsome, annoyingly arrogant, self-assured man in the shadows with long hair and a cleft in his chin? He's your vampire. No matter how tempting it might be, do not "accidentally" acquire a paper cut on your finger and suggest your vampire kiss it to make it better....

    E. Lanier says: "Maybe it was Katie's first "stab" at writing"
    "Witty, fun and entertaining"

Would you consider the audio edition of A Girl's Guide to Vampires to be better than the print version?

I love to read - but it is a pleasure to listen to a story that has a good plot, romance, intrigue and makes you laugh out loud.

Who was your favorite character and why?

CJ Dante! Handsome 900 year old dark one with a conscious first and Roxy, the life long best friend who tells it like it is!

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Joy and Rafael realize he didn't enter her mind or visit her early I the evening.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Time weighs heavy for the Dark One....and then... beloved.

Dr. Melanie Lipton is no stranger to the supernatural. She knows immortals better than they know themselves, right down to their stubborn little genes. So although a handsome rogue immortal seems suspicious to her colleagues, Sebastien Newcombe intrigues Melanie. His history is checkered, his scars are impressive, and his ideas are daring. But it's not his ideas that have Melanie fighting off surges of desire.... Bastien is used to being the bad guy. In fact, he can't remember the last time he had an ally he could trust. But Melanie is different....

CAROLYN says: "AN ADDICTIVE PULSE POUNDING PARANORMAL TALE"

What did you love best about Phantom Shadows?

The introduction of new characters with underlying references on the books too come.

What other book might you compare Phantom Shadows to and why?

If you like Black Dagger Brothers by JR Ward or Midnight Breed series by Laura Adrian you'll like the "world" created by Dianne Duvall.

What about Kirsten Potter’s performance did you like?

    Love it!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Fearless heroines. Love a character who fights for what she wants and is not a victim needing rescue by the hero. I really like that Melanie looked beyond others characters hate for Sebastian and explored their growing relationship with gentle prods to determine his true feelings.

Her career in homicide has taken her into the darkest depths of New York City’s underground - and sometimes Lieutenant Eve Dallas feels more comfortable in those kinds of places than in the high-rise, high-society world of her billionaire husband, Roarke. But while she’s no party girl, she’s managing to have a reasonably good time at the celebrity-packed bash celebrating the debut of The Icove Agenda. This time it’s Eve, not Roarke, who’s a guest of honor, since the film is based on one of her famous cases. Her partner, Peabody, is practically giddy....

Amy Huber says: "Susan Ericksen is amazing!"

If you could sum up Celebrity in Death in three words, what would they be?

    Fantastc futuristic detective!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The plot keeps you so involved, I jump when someone walks in the room!

Have you listened to any of Susan Ericksen???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Love Susan Ericksen's performance. She does so many characters so well that I feel like I know them.
