When Regina's friends insist on setting her up a "Fantasy Fix" to help her get over her cheating ex, she dreams up some kinky out-of-this-world encounters that they could never possibly bring to life. But the next thing Regina knows, her friends have got her laced into a shiny black corset, tight leather pants, and a sexy pair of stilettos. It's time for some downtown vampire-fantasy fun...

Erin says: "Don't judge the entire Others series by Book 1"

Would you listen to One Bite With a Stranger again? Why?

Yes, I read several reviews before I purchased so I was prepared for the sexy storyline. In fact, I was expecting it to be mediocre. I laughed so much listening to this audio book. The humor is off the chain. The narrator is excellent! The "good friends" reminded me of my friends when we'd get together, but never to set up fantasy dates. And did the ladies get more than they bargained for! I am hooked!

What other book might you compare One Bite With a Stranger to and why?

Elisabeth Naughton, Laurel K. Hamilton, Mary Janice Davidson, Charlaine Harris and J.R. Ward are all writers of series that am a fan. Christine Warren has now been added to my favorites!

    Which scene was your favorite?

Absolutely loved it when the girls came to the rescue; busted into the bedroom! It was hilarious, couldn't wait to read Missy's story after that scene!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Loved the humor! Laughed too and from work. Made the commute speed by!

    Any additional comments?

Reading the series and I am loving it!

Another shockingly suspenseful installment in #1 New York Times best-selling author Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. Burned picks up right where the surprising conclusion of Iced left off, and will feature beloved characters Mac and Dani O'Malley as they embark on another high-octane adventure in the Fever world.

For better or worse, I read all the reviews before I started the book. In fact, I have long awaited for Burned next book in this series whether it was about Mac, Baron’s or Dani’s; I just wanted the story to continue. So after I read the reviews I was prepared to be underwhelmed.
I think Karen Marie Moening’s Burned was genius, surprising and fantastic. For those who complained about Dani’s age – she addressed it. Mac and Baron’s relationship continued as I expected it to full of love, lust and controversy. The nuances of the actions of the Unseelie King, the 9 and the “evil book” confounded me as a reader. As an author Karen wrote a book to be proud of. Yes, I missed “mega” but that’s what happens some books don’t just have a happy expected ending. I can’t wait for the next in this series. I rarely “tweet” but I have to go on line and give a big shout out to this fanciful, whimsical story!

    I loved the narrators too!

Damon Chroi has known the weight of ruling in loneliness for thousands of years. The tall, painfully handsome fae lord was born with so much power, the fae kings not only envied but feared him, and banished him to a forbidden realm to be forgotten. There, he was tasked with ruling over the deadliest creatures known to the fae worlds, and his veritable battle as their sovereign is never-ending. As one of the thirteen Kings, his destiny foretells an end to his solitude with the appearance of an equally powerful queen.

It was immediate for Roman. In 3,000 years, he'd never lost control of his emotions, or his heart. But the moment he laid eyes on Evelynne Farrow, he knew she was the woman who haunted his dreams. And everything changed. Everything. Evie Farrow has always loved a good vampire romance. In fact, she makes a living writing them. While sitting in a coffee shop and working on her next mega-hot book, Evie is approached by a tall, dark, and handsome man who could have been pulled directly from one of her novels.

Her job description is the "tracking and apprehension of mentally-fractured killers". What this really means in FBI profiler Jace Valchek's brave new world - one in which only one percent of the population is human - is that a woman's work is never done. And real is getting stranger every day. Jace has been ripped from her reality by David Cassius, the vampire head of the NSA. He knows that she's the best there is in the business, and David needs her help in solving a series of gruesome murders of vampires and werewolves.

What did you like about this audiobook?

I love Jace's witty, snarky attitude. She is quick on her feet and says what she wants. The alternate world theme reminds me of the television show Fringe - different but just as good. I really like the idea of an FBI profiler needed in this world and that the NSA had to kidnap her to get her services.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Really loving the new terminology to describe the vampires and weres! Hilarious scene when Jace is looking for music lol

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

Action packed! I also like the way B.B. reveals Jace's vulnerability to her new reality!

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

The narrator is fabulous! Love her voice and her ability to voice separate distinct characters.

Do you have any additional comments?

Really looking forward to the next book in the series!

What did you love best about Magic Breaks?

This is one of the best series I have ever had the pleasure of losing myself in.  Ilona and Gordon have me in the palm of their hands.  Kate and Curran are a dynamic couple. I found myself laughing and on pins and needles.  I have the ebook and audio series. I have replayed it and reread it during the month of July and August.  The shapeshifters and vampires in this series have so many characteristics that you may find in other author’s series but have been developed to a new intricate level.  I have so many favorite “scenes”.  I love the witty banter.  I can’t wait to finish work or whatever I am doing so I can get back to the books.  So glad there are more to come.  Talk about Daddy/Mommy issues ha!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Magic Breaks?

When Kate and Curran go to the swan palace.

Have you listened to any of Renée Raudman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No but I have fallen in love with her ability to distinguish all the characters in the series. Awesome!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Epic tale of magic, shapeshifters, love and betrayal! Nocturnal terror between magic and tech that will make you pray it never comes to pass!

    Any additional comments?

Wow- awesome, awe-inspiring, intimidating, mind blowing, stupefying story line. more more more!

Dragos Cuelebre is no longer the only dragon. Dragos’s son Liam Cuelebre (a.k.a. Peanut) is springing into existence, reminiscent of the first of the Elder Races who were born at the beginning of the world. At just six months of age, he has already grown to the size of a large five-year-old boy. He can read, write in complete sentences, and his math skills are off the chart. A white dragon in his Wyr form, Liam also holds more power than almost anyone else.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I love dragons and Pia. Dragos and peanut are fantastic characters. Thea Harrison has created a a wonderful series. Forget Calgon take me away; Thea takes me to a magical world full of entertainment.

What did you like best about this story?

Liam is engaging, Pia is a feminine but strong character. Dragos is the epitome of the perfect family man when human but commands respect because he scares the mess out of you if you get on his bad side!

What does Sophie Eastlake bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She has a unique talent of having a believable voice for every character. I love her representation of every one in the series!

If you could rename Peanut Goes to School, what would you call it?

    I wouldn't rename it!

    Any additional comments?

Keep them coming - I love the series!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend to others who like this genre. I am so intrigued by the "segration" of the shifters from "normal" humans. The storyline introduces the Fae who helped the normal people corral theshifters and also look down on the shifters who were forced out 20 years ago to be treated like second class citizens. The concept of Shifter Towns is reminiscent to "separate but equal" but worse. The can't have up to smart phones or computers and the collar trials and tribulations makes me rewind scenes to listen again. I like that they have such good attitudes about how they live.

What other book might you compare Primal Bonds to and why?

I really enjoyed other books about "supernaturals" from Thea Harrison, Karen Marie Moning and Sarah McCarty. Laurel K Hamilton and Charlaine Harris also address "human"s versus supernaturals in a fantastic way. Romance abounds, protective males, accepting women, just loving it.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    When she meets her father.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she finds out she can heal wounds with her man.

    Any additional comments?

Can't wait for the next one.
