"Didn't want to stop listening"
I really liked the way the characters merged, much like "Crash".
"Good "beach read""
Kept my interest, and enjoyed the characters.
"WOW!"
I have enjoyed many of Douglas Preston's books, Mount Dragon, Blasphemy, Tryannosaur Canyon but this one is the best I have read. Scott Sowers did such a fantastic job of making you feel the excitment and tension. The subject matter was very interesting, blending a little scifi into the story. My treadmill got quite the workout while I was aptly listening. I was so disappointed when it ended. What I say to Doulas Preston is MORE OF THE SAME PLEASE!
"Listened for hours on end . . . . ."
Haven't read a SK novel in a long time, thought this one sounded interesting. Kept my interest the whole time. Although some listeners didn't agree, I thought the narrator was fine, he switched characters and I could tell who was talking by his change in tone. There is a character in the book that you loathe so much, you can't wait for his demise. As I was reading, I even cast the roles with actors that I could imagine doing each part!
