"Awesome"
Please read this series in order. It is a delightful, funny, entertaining, sexy, romantic, suspenseful, read. This last book was my favorite of the series. I love when a writer can make one love and cheer for the bad guy. It is not easy to keep us historical romance novel readers enthralled, but you will be with this series. At least, it kept me listening late into the night. Great ending.
"Great message"
Yes. It is so positive and real. My daughter and I listened to it in the car. When we would get to our destination we would sit in the car dreading to turn it off. It was funny and very sweet.
The message of kindness, love, forgiveness. Just a lovely book for any age.
He brings the characters alive.
Every part. It is a book that should be recommended for all pre-teens, and all educators.
Great job.
"AWESOME"
Yes. It was intense, unpredictable, enthralling, fun. I laughed and I held my breath. I could not put it down. I have read several books by this author, this is the best thus far. If you like Webber , you will love this book.
I normally read historical novels so, none. This was a delightful surprise.
Darryl
Darryl. He was smart, kind, sensitive, thoughtful lover and a bad ass tug. But you would never know it was so.
Get this book. FYI The love scenes are HOT HOT HOT without being tacky.
"Decent story BAD narrator"
The story line was good, but the narrator made it painfully difficult to stick with it. Very distracting. I felt like downloading the Kindle version just to not have to listen to Mrs. Greene less than stellar performance.
The Hero saving the young heroine from the bad guys at the beginning of the book.
NEVER. Well maybe in the future after she improves.
Not really
I was so disappointed with the narrator and having wasted my money that I don't believe I am being as objective as I would be under different circumstances. The story in my opinion was hurt by the narrator. I suggest the hard copy version
"Crazy Love"
Funny, gripping and delightful
When Emis husband died in her room the first and only night she slept with him in hopes to have a legitimate heir. OMG it was a laugh out loud moment, even though I felt bad for the poor man... The circumstances leading up to the events, were too funny...
She is pretty good. I enjoy her.
When Carola confessed her love to Topey.
The "Man of Business" was assigned a tough task. He deserved a raised after the painfully embarrassing situation in which he found himself. The HOT Bath was definitely a good choice. The love scenes were mild but nice. The lack of Steamy love scenes did not diminish my enjoyment. But, I did miss them.
"Different"
Good but slow.
Theo. He so so patient, smart, kind, loving, funny and persistent.
Everything. She did a good job with the different characters and voices
The reluctant lover
This book is slow but it is good. Unpredictable and different. The ending is sort of abrupt but it does not take away from the story. The plot is weird, but so is Martha. Our heroine is emotionally perturbed/damaged. The healing process is sloooww. The love scenes (eventually) are pretty good. It is worth a credit.
"Delicious romance"
The twist and turns. The unexpected scenarios and the strong heroine.
Because of the unpredictability of the story, and the smart, funny and strong will heroine I would compare it to The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie
Not sure. this performance was pretty good.
Much more than a Prince.
Very tasteful. The love scenes were few but the story kept the book flowing so that the listener is totally enchanted by the Prince and its antics.
"A LOVE SO STRONG IT HURTS"
Many things: The narration was awesome, the story was engaging and exciting. I don't believe there is a woman that would not want to be loved the way Mac loved Isabella, and I am sure most men wish they had it going on like Mac. He is magnificent (after he got over his traumatic childhood issues).
The Love story. The strength that Isabella exhibited is the kind of strength women claim to have, but very few actually do.
She has the voices down extremely well. The sexy scottish accent, the British accent, the confident/sexy tone she gives Isabella and the no nonsense masculine twist of all the males, gave me goose bumps.
No. I wanted it to go on... So I tried but failed to strech it out.
The love scenes were HOT HOT HOT.
"AWESOME"
I did not have the written version.
The story is unpredictable, exciting, sensual, sexy, hot, fun, unbelievably enthralling.
Beth was the bomb! She was strong, smart, unbending, and very coning.
I loved it. I could not stop listening. Mrs. Ashley has become one of my favorites authors.
Not for the faint of heart. Well written, strong, but not vulgar. The dialogues were fabulous.
"OK"
It was funny. It was too slow. This is a story written sometime ago, so it is not surprising that it was somewhat, not up to par.
Faster pace.
She did well.
I did not enjoy this book, so, no.
It was not a bad story, just not what I expected.
"Entertaining and educational"
The stories were fun and in the process my daughter and I learned much from the historic facts included in the audio.
Is the first time I read / hear this type of literature.
His voice is powerful, magical, it demands your attention.
yes.
Great for quality time with your young one. Great dialogue starter.
