On the day she was abducted, Annie O’Sullivan, a 32-year-old Realtor, had three goals: sell a house, forget about a recent argument with her mother, and be on time for dinner with her ever-patient boyfriend. The open house is slow, but when her last visitor pulls up in a van as she’s about to leave, Annie thinks it just might be her lucky day after all.

Richard Delman says: "A singular voice; a horrendous story."

Couldn't stop listening, it was a great thriller. One word of caution: terrible language! F-word throughout the whole book! Too bad. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is sensitive to that. (Also, it describes a rape in detail.)

To everyone at Meridian High School, Michael Vey is an ordinary 14-year-old. In fact, the only thing that seems to set him apart is the fact that he has Tourette's syndrome. But Michael is anything but ordinary. Michael has special powers. Electric powers....
