Would you try another book from Anne Marsh and/or Kellie Kamryn?

I would try another book from Anne but not from Kellie

What could Anne Marsh have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

get a different reader. I had to stop it after an hour and half.

What didn’t you like about Kellie Kamryn’s performance?

The way she read. I don't know if she was bored with the book. or that she didn't know how to read it. maybe she should practice reading books out allowed first before she does another book. or at least read the book a few pages ahead and then read it to me.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I wasn't impressed that I paid a lot of money for a book I couldn't even sit through. The story line sounded really good. I just couldn't handle the way the reader was reading it to me.

    Any additional comments?

I don't want to put anyone off this book. the way I want my books read to me is the same way I read them to me. Read them like your there experiencing the plot. if your joking you might want to chuckle. not tell me that your chuckling. I think listening to someones reading is personal preference so listen to it quickly first then decided before buying it.

When historian Diana Bishop opens an alchemical manuscript in the Bodleian Library, it's an unwelcome intrusion of magic into her carefully ordered life. Though Diana is a witch of impeccable lineage, the violent death of her parents while she was still a child convinced her that human fear is more potent than any witchcraft. Now Diana has unwittingly exposed herself to a world she's kept at bay for years; one of powerful witches, creative, destructive daemons and long-lived vampires.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I love the line story. I love the way it was written. It had funny bits where I laughed out loud. It's rare to chuckle at the antics of the people in the story. I love listening to Robert reading the book. He is the best reader.

What other book might you compare Shadow's Claim to and why?

I have bought most of Kresley's book. It is simular to the Immortal series. But don't go what what books it might be like. Listen to it as a stand alone book and you will find that you will like it if you love a romance with males that will do anything for their woman. and a woman that is learning her way through life.

Which character – as performed by Robert Petkoff – was your favorite?

One of the things that I love about Robert is that he changes his voice/tone for different characters. He also has a great accents so that you can tell the difference between the people without waiting for him to say said this character. So which character do I like?? all of them. I find her body guard is funny.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think receiving the severed heads were a great idea. What person wouldn't want to have the heads of the persons that tortured them.

    Any additional comments?

Having listened to Robert read Kresleys books before. I actually got this book because Robert was reading it. He gets into the story allowing you to lose yourself in the book. It its him doing the talking to you as the character and you are listening to what he is saying like you are there in the story. Like your the character listening to another character talking to you. instead of saying "Shh he said" Robert actually just does the shhhhh noise. If there is yelling then Robert raises his voice. For me its the little things like that, that make it a great story because he's in the story not just reading it to you. I love reading books. I mainly listen to books when I have a headache and I can't read myself. But because the book is read properly and it's written properly I find myself just getting into the book. I listen to it even without my headache

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

probably not. only because the story teller didnt seem to take breath and the lines/words seem to ran into each other. She didn't have any character to her talking. The reading was very bland. it was hard to work who was actually talking some times.

Would you recommend Redemption to your friends? Why or why not?

same reason as the first one

I did like her voice though :)

Was Redemption worth the listening time?

The story line was good. it would have been alot better if the reader was different. (sorry)

    Any additional comments?

    nope

Raylene Pendle (AKA Cheshire Red), a vampire and world-renowned thief, doesn’t usually hang with her own kind. She’s too busy stealing priceless art and rare jewels. But when the infuriatingly charming Ian Stott asks for help, Raylene finds him impossible to resist - even though Ian doesn’t want precious artifacts. He wants her to retrieve missing government files: documents that deal with the secret biological experiments that left Ian blind. What Raylene doesn’t bargain for is a case that takes her from the frozen outskirts of Minneapolis to the mean streets of Atlanta.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

She repeated some things a little to much. I guess if you read the book a little at a time then you wouldn't notice it but because I use mine for my walking buddy, I found it a little repetitive. I would have liked a little more romance in the book. she was checking out the guys but the romance didn't flow into the book.

Would you recommend Bloodshot to your friends? Why or why not?

Yeah. it was okay. If I remembered it.

What aspect of Natalie Ross’s performance would you have changed?

I didn't have a problem with her telling me the story. I liked her different accents.

Did Bloodshot inspire you to do anything?

Where does The Princess and the Wizard rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

My 4 year old loves it. It's one of her favourites.

What other book might you compare The Princess and the Wizard to and why?

    no idea

What does Imelda Staunton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

We listen to the book on the way to daycare. It's a good book to get her mind going.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

My daughter likes 2 different parts. 1. when the princess sees the book writting where she is. and when the wizard throws the book into the water so the princess can get away. She likes the way the princess changes herself into different animals and with different colours

    Any additional comments?

I liked it because it's not one of those books you get sick of hearing after the second time. We listen to it in the car on the way to daycare and when my daughter goes to bed. It doesn't make me cringe when she picks that book again and again

What three words best describe Rebecca Cook’s voice?

    kind, funny, soothing

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Knight of a Trillion Stars?

not cut. add more romance to it.

    Any additional comments?

It look me days to listen to it because it was very drawn out. I found it boring. I read other books in between listening to this one. I liked Rebecca's voice. but the book lacked romance for me.
