In her dazzling new novel--her first in more than a decade--Moore turns her eye on the anxiety and disconnection of post-9/11 America, on the insidiousness of racism, the blind-sidedness of war, and the recklessness thrust on others in the name of love.

Wendy says: "Great Writing - Not Great Book"
    "Disappointing"
    Overall

This was the most boring book I have listened to in a long time. My book club chose this book, so I plodded through it. The main character is dull, uninteresting and completely spineless. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen in this book and it never did.

When Gracie MacDougal returns to Seagull Point, Virginia, seeking to reform her workaholic ways, she discovers more than relaxation. The picturesque town calls to her, as does the waterfront Victorian house she envisions as the perfect bed-and-breakfast. But one person stands between Gracie and her new goal...and he isn't budging.

    Kim says: "Good Read"
    "Sheryl Woods Old book"
    Overall

This book is ten years old and believe me, it is not the same as later books. Reads like a novice romance novel, silly and very predictable. Sorry I downloaded it.

I love these books. I cannot find any of the more recent ones in audio format. There are two more and three more to come out this spring.

In Robyn Carr's Whispering Rock, wounded LAPD Sergeant Mike Valenzuela finds the help and healing he needs in Virgin River. Now he longs for the marital bliss his Marine Corps buddies enjoy. And he thinks he's found the right woman. But after she's brutally attacked, Mike must show her how to trust again.

    "Virgin River Series"
    Overall

I really like these books and Robyn Carr's style of writing. The narrator is terrific. In this book you see the story of Brea and Mike coming together and how they fit into the town of Virgin River along with all the folks you already know from reading the previous books.

From Andre Agassi, one of the most beloved athletes in history and one of the most gifted men ever to step onto a tennis court, a beautiful, haunting autobiography. Agassi brings a near-photographic memory to every pivotal match and every relationship. Never before has the inner game of tennis and the outer game of fame been so precisely limned.

Victor says: "Great listen, get the full version."
"Open is a eye opening book"
    Overall

Andre Agassi has really opened his heart and soul in this book. You will feel like you really know the man after you read this book. Wonderful book Andre!
