Maybe, but I doubt it.
Audible book a sales pitch for the attached PDF
What I wanted them to "show me" in the audible book is what's in the PDF.
I thought I'd be audibly walked through the diet and maybe a couple of work-outs. That didn't happen. It's in the PDF they kept saying.
If I wanted to read a PDF I would have bought a PDF.
I think they missed a huge opportunity here.
kind of, only time will tell.
When I turned it off when they started thanking mom, grandma, and who knows who else.
I don't know what it was, but this read seemed less than I've become accustomed to from Mr. Koontz. Although I haven't read all of Koontz's large number of books, I have read enough to compare this one to (including the prior 2 books in this series). I couldn't shake the feeling that this was a HAD TO book, instead of a WANT TO book. It dragged on and on, and it seemed flat, uninteresting. I can't blame the narration, that seemed fine. I like Koontz, he's one of my favorite authors, I hate to write a review like this one, and maybe I should stay quiet (if you can't say something nice), but that's not my way. Koontz is better than this, don't judge his work by this one. Save the credit and wait for a sale.
