I was pleasantly surprised by how funny this book was. I enjoyed it and learned several things that I had believed heretofor were old wives tales and now I may not be smart but I am not as ill informed as I was.

I enjoy reading historical works and I had heard some of the sorted legends about Catherine the Great so I was excited to read this biography. She was a very strong willed woman and I really enjoyed hearing her story come to life. I found the reader extremely enjoyable and the story kept my interest and even though it was a long book....I got through it in only a few days as I looked for time to listen.

I laughed out loud several times while listening to this book. It was filled with lots of facts and good abstracts from studies but also lots of fun and funny ways of looking at how and why we act the way we do today in our relationships.

The authors have some interesting insights into how to help children who have been traumatized and some helpful ideas about how to change our society of today for the better of our children. I wish all new parents could read it.

I loved this book and already recommended it to a couple of friends. While it is scientific it is also funny and entertaining. I laughed out loud several times and chuckled a lot. I don't know if I would have stated my beliefs as well as the author did but I certainly will now.

I listened to this book while getting ready for bed. I did sometimes fall asleep before the chapter finished and had to go back and find the part where I drifted off but it was very interesting and I enjoyed the fact that I could start fresh with each chapter and it did not matter if I had taken a day or two off or not. I feel I learned many things I had never realized.

I have not seen the movie yet but I loved the book. The story was interesting, the narrator was great and I enjoyed the whole thing. I listened to it twice.

I enjoyed listening to this book and would recommend it to others who like this kind of story. It is different enough that you really get into to the characters and near the end I was in tears and laughing with them.

Interesting, mysterious, good read

Lord John, I love the stories where he is the main character. It is such a different kind of story from the Claire and Jamie stories...good to break up the point of view.

I find the names and places in most of Gabaldon's books difficult and frequently find the dialogue tiresome when reading from print. Love having the words flow so freely and sound so good.
