When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I will and have!!!! A fabulous book and series. I originally read the books before the audiobooks were available and now I love to listen to the series as I clean. A beautiful love story.

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades of Grey to and why?

Twilight It is very similar to Twilight but with a billionaire CEO instead of a vampire.

What about Becca Battoe’s performance did you like?

I don't think it was Becca... I got the one that was re-recorded after everyone slammed the first narrator. I believe this was the same narrator as The Help recording. A very pleasing voice to listen to.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The fact that the characters grow together was very moving.

    Any additional comments?

Get it!!! You wont be sorry!

At a certain time in life, we all come to realize what is truly important to us and what just doesn’t matter. For Shirley MacLaine, that time is now. In this wise, witty, and fearless collection of small observations and big-picture questions, she shares with listeners all those things that she is over dealing with in life, in love, at home, and in the larger world… as well as the things she will never get over, no matter how long she lives.

Would you consider the audio edition of I'm Over All That to be better than the print version?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The anecdotes and personal opinions from the author are fascinating. Listening to the author read the book herself absolutely made the difference for this audiobook. What a treat!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

It wasn't as uplifting as I was hoping. I had a hard time getting through it.
