If you are interested in mystery/spy books set in 19th England, the Pink Carnation series is for you!
I always read Berry's new novels. Any reader that likes historical fiction should try one of his novels.
The premise is this - it is depression era UK when unmarried, untrained at any means of employment twenty one year old Lady Georgiana (34th in succession to the crown) is cut off financially by her brother and her sister in law. She now has to find means to make her own way in life while getting involved in a murder and spying for the Queen.
A while back I read "The Secret" and found it very interesting. Since then, I have been looking into the concept of the law of attraction more and more. I find it to be true. I think this book has a lot of interesting suggestions.
If you need something to read that is light, funny and romantic, I would recomend any of the Wallflower series.
I thought this was a good book just not as good as the first one. I still need to read the last one.
The first part could have been eliminated and the rest of it could be sped up. I tried to get into this but I could not.
